The West Australian’s 2019 report described a beachfront ceremony, resort-wear guests, a singalong and a party at the couple’s beach house.
A beachfront ceremony with an informal feel
Maddox and Hayler married after six years together at a beachfront ceremony in Quindalup, Western Australia. The West Australian reported that about 150 guests attended. The exact ceremony date is not established in the report; the story was listed as published on January 1, 2019.
The couple invited guests to wear resort clothing, and the celebration included a singalong before continuing at their renovated beach house. Maddox summed up the approach: “We threw the rule book out of the window. The result was raw and hilarious.”
What the couple wore
Maddox wore a Jonte Morgan bodysuit with two skirts, then changed into a white Gucci dress in the early hours. Hayler wore shorts and a white linen shirt. The outfit changes and relaxed dress code matched the informal tone described in the report.
