Yes. Brayden Bowers proposed to Christina Mandrell during ABC’s live broadcast of The Golden Wedding on Jan. 4, 2024, and she accepted. The special was Gerry Turner and Theresa Nist’s wedding—not Bowers and Mandrell’s. The couple later married privately on Dec. 12, 2024.

Bowers proposed on Jan. 4, 2024, during ABC’s live broadcast of The Golden Wedding, the televised wedding of Gerry Turner and Theresa Nist. TheWrap reported that Bowers had received Turner and Nist’s blessing before asking Mandrell to marry him. TheWrap’s contemporaneous account quotes Bowers telling her, “I know that I want to spend the rest of my days with you.”
Mandrell said yes before he had finished saying her name. Her immediate reaction, as TheWrap reported it, was: “this is why we got our nails done?!”
How did the couple meet?
Bowers and Mandrell came from separate Bachelor franchise appearances and had not competed on the same season. TheWrap reported that Mandrell contacted Bowers after his appearance on Bachelor in Paradise. Their televised proposal took place during Turner and Nist’s wedding special, rather than on a season they shared.

Are Brayden Bowers and Christina Mandrell married now?
Yes. The couple married privately on Dec. 12, 2024. In a Jan. 21, 2025 marriage announcement, Bachelor Nation reported that the ceremony included Bowers, Mandrell, and Mandrell’s daughter, Blakely. Blakely filmed the ceremony, including the vows, first kiss, and first dance. Bachelor Nation reported the marriage and ceremony details.
Their later wedding was separate from the January 2024 televised proposal. Bachelor Nation’s December 2025 first-anniversary report repeated Mandrell’s date-specific caption: “One year married to you, my favorite human. Happy anniversary 🤍 12.12.24”.

What did Christina Mandrell’s engagement ring look like?
Bachelor Nation reported that Neil Lane designed the ring and quoted Lane’s description from People’s report: it was “set in 18k rose gold,” with a princess-cut center diamond, a two-tier halo of small round brilliant-cut diamonds, and a diamond band. Bachelor Nation gave the total as more than 109 diamonds and approximately 1.75 carats. These are reported specifications, not an exact diamond count or weight.
