ABC News subsequently reported that Dan Hollis, the Butte-Silver Bow County coroner, confirmed melanoma as the cause of death. Hollis also said Blackstock died at his home in Butte and that the manner of death was natural.

What melanoma is—and what it does not tell us about his case

Who was Brandon Blackstock?
Blackstock was known to the public as a talent manager, Kelly Clarkson’s former husband, and the father of two of Clarkson’s children. He also had two children from a previous marriage. His professional connections included Starstruck Entertainment, Blake Shelton, and Rascal Flatts.
