The date descriptions should be kept distinct. A USA TODAY report republished by Yahoo dates the crash to late September 14 and says Young died on September 15, 2025. The Television Academy’s biography lists September 17, 2025, as his date of passing. These are the dates as presented by those sources, rather than a single reconciled timestamp.
The crash details available in these reports are attributed to Young’s publicist. They do not include a primary police or coroner record, so the account should be understood as reported rather than as a finding from an independently cited official investigation.

News quoted publicist Paul Christensen describing Young’s commitment: “Brad’s passion for both the arts and the people behind them was unmatched.”
