How Daniels marked his 96th birthday
Daniels shared a birthday message and a photo with his wife and a cupcake topped with candles spelling “96” on Instagram on April 1, FOX 11 reported. His caption read: “Time flies! Spend it with the ones you love. Thank you for all the birthday wishes, they make me feel so young!” E! News also reported on the birthday gathering and reproduced the message.

Rider Strong remembered Daniels as a professional role model
Rider Strong, who played Shawn Hunter, recalled that Daniels’ influence extended beyond his role as Feeny. “When we were kids, goofing off and having a good time, he was very much a Feeny-like presence,” Strong told People, as quoted by FOX 11.
Strong also pointed to Daniels’ example on set: “Even when the cameras weren’t there, in terms of knowing his lines, being a complete professional, being on time. Those were things that we needed to see, and had to learn to emulate in order to be professionals in the industry.”
