Boruto: Two Blue Vortex Chapter 28 is a past release, not an upcoming chapter. The official Naruto/Boruto site posted page-preview notices on November 13 and 17, 2025. It said the chapter would arrive in Japan on November 20 (JST) in V Jump’s super-sized January edition; VIZ lists the English chapter on November 19, 2025.
When did Chapter 28 come out?
The dates differ by one day because they refer to different publication listings. The first official preview notice appeared November 13, 2025, and a second notice followed on November 17. Both point to the Japanese magazine arrival on November 20, 2025, Japan Standard Time, in V Jump’s super-sized January edition. The Naruto Official Site says its dates and times use JST unless otherwise specified.

VIZ lists Chapter 28 as released November 19, 2025, and marks a free preview. This is the date shown on its English chapter page; it does not replace the Japanese magazine date.
What does the official preview show?
The Naruto Official Site notices announce that readers can take a peek at a page from the chapter and give its magazine timing. They do not provide a detailed plot synopsis or establish a panel-by-panel account of Chapter 28. The headline’s Mamushi attack reflects the surrounding story arc, but the notices alone should not be treated as a complete explanation of the chapter’s events.

Spoiler context: Mamushi’s attack on Konoha
Spoilers for later collected-volume context: Shueisha’s Volume 8 synopsis describes Mamushi attacking Konoha and Boruto using Karma to fight the multiplying insects. It also says the Land of Fire’s attendant Kob intensifies the search for Boruto’s informant, drawing closer to Shikamaru. This is publisher-provided context for the broader arc, not a precise summary of Chapter 28’s preview page.

VIZ’s series listing credits Masashi Kishimoto with creation and supervision and Mikio Ikemoto with art. The Japanese Volume 8 listings from V Jump and Shueisha Books give a June 4, 2026 release date for the print and digital editions. That Japanese volume is 176 pages, ISBN 978-4-08-885076-4, and contains Chapters 29–32—not Chapter 28.
