What happens in Chapter 20?
The chapter’s two confrontations turn on the same vulnerability: attachment can create hesitation, but it can also become a reason to act. That is an interpretive reading of the parallel, not an official explanation of the chapter.

Konohamaru and Matsuri
In chapter-specific spoiler coverage, Matsuri has Konohamaru in her grasp. Her feelings for him complicate the encounter, but they do not make it safe. Konohamaru tries to use that emotional opening to gain an advantage; the exchange instead leaves him exposed to her attack. Ryū, Yodo and Sarada
In the other confrontation, Ryū overwhelms the group with iron sand, and Yodo is badly wounded. Her conversation with Sarada becomes the emotional turning point: Sarada stops holding back to protect someone important to her. She activates her Mangekyō Sharingan, and the iron sand is drawn into an effect resembling a space-time tunnel or black hole.

The visual has prompted comparisons to Kamui, but that is commentary, not confirmation of Sarada’s ability or its mechanics. The cited recap describes what appears on the page; it does not establish exactly how the power works.
Why the chapter’s title fits
“Because of Love” connects the two danger lines without making them equivalent. Matsuri’s feelings give Konohamaru an opening to exploit, while Yodo’s bond with Sarada helps propel Sarada into action. In both scenes, affection changes how characters respond under pressure; it does not remove the physical danger.

When and where can you read Chapter 20?
Shueisha’s March 16, 2025 announcement said the next chapter would appear on March 19, 2025 JST in the super-sized May edition of V Jump, which the notice identifies as Japanese-only. That is the original magazine timing. Shonen Jump+’s Japanese Chapter 20 listing displays July 31, 2025; it reflects a different publication context, not the original magazine release date.
For official digital access, VIZ’s Chapter 20 reader requires joining to read. Shonen Jump+ presents paid, point-based reading or rental prompts. Availability and terms depend on the platform and region, so check the current listing where you live rather than assuming one service or price applies everywhere.
