How is Forever (Legendary Edition) different?
The original Forever and Forever (Legendary Edition) are separate releases. Announced in August 2025 and dated October 24, 2025, the later edition is described by the band as an all-star reimagining. It adds the new opening track “Red, White and Jersey” and features collaborations including Bruce Springsteen, Jelly Roll, James Bay and Avril Lavigne. The band says the edition is available on streaming platforms, CD and limited-edition vinyl. See the official Bon Jovi updates for its announcement and availability details.
Jon Bon Jovi said the collaborative album was “more than just a collection of collaborations; it is an album borne out of necessity.” The band connected that necessity to his vocal-cord rehabilitation and touring demands.

Which physical formats were announced?
Official listings document a standard black-vinyl LP of Forever on one 12-inch disc, as well as a separate clear 7-inch “Legendary” single with the main track and a radio edit. The single is not the album: it is a separate physical release. The label’s March 2024 pre-order announcement also named CDs, cassettes, colored vinyl and signed copies. Those historical listings establish formats, not current stock; check the relevant store listing for present availability.
The official store’s black-vinyl album page gives the LP format and June 7, 2024 release date. The clear 7-inch page lists “Legendary” and its radio edit.
