The final two episodes of BLEACH: Thousand-Year Blood War were rescheduled so the production team could improve quality toward the climax. The Japanese production committee lists episode 50 for October 26, 2026, on TV Tokyo affiliates; in the United States, VIZ schedules the subtitled episode for October 26 at 8:30 a.m. PDT on Hulu. VIZ calls the final cour The Calamity; the official site also presents new visual and teaser assets, though its text labels do not identify what appears in them.
Why were the last two Bleach TYBW episodes delayed?
On September 12, 2026, the official production committee announced revised timing for episodes 49 and 50. It said the change was intended to improve quality toward the climax and deliver the series in a better form through the final episode. The notice apologizes to viewers for the wait and says staff will continue working toward the anime’s conclusion. The announcement is a scheduling and quality update, not a description of particular changes viewers should expect onscreen. The official English anime site labels newly presented assets “KEY VISUAL 9” and “TEASER 3,” but the available text does not describe their imagery. Official anime site

The Japanese committee says schedules for other broadcasters would be announced as they were confirmed. Its 24:00 and 24:30 listings are retained above as printed, alongside the corresponding civil-date interpretation. VIZ’s US dates are its published schedule, so check the service for any later changes.

VIZ Media’s August 28, 2026 guide schedules the US subtitled episodes on Hulu on Disney+. US dubbed episodes are listed for November 23 and November 30, 2026, at 8:30 a.m. PDT on Hulu; access through Hulu on Disney+ is for bundle subscribers. VIZ viewing guide

Dub timing varies by language: VIZ lists English, Spanish, Portuguese, and German dubs for November 23 and 30; French dubs for December 14 and 21; and Italian dubs beginning October 3. Confirm the date and audio options for your country and language in the service, since availability is not one worldwide schedule.
VIZ describes the final installment as The Calamity, the concluding part of the anime’s final arc. Its synopsis sets up the Soul Reapers’ final conflict with the Quincies, as Yhwach seeks entry to the Royal Palace and the struggle threatens the Three Worlds. When does the Bleach TYBW Blu-ray come out?
The Japanese anime site says the broadcast delay also moved the Part 4 Blu-ray box, DVD box, and BLEACH THE BLOOD WARFARE Original Soundtrack III. All three Japanese releases are now scheduled for March 24, 2027. The listed prices include Japanese tax. Official Japanese product notice

What the final cour is—and what is known about its production
The official anime site describes Thousand-Year Blood War as the concluding arc of the BLEACH anime. It credits Tomohisa Taguchi with series direction and composition, Shiro Sagisu with music, Masashi Kudo as character designer, and Studio Pierrot for animation production. The original 366-episode TV anime began in October 2004, according to the same site. Official series information
VIZ identifies the final part as The Calamity and gives July 25, 2026, as its start date. VIZ also says the manga has sold more than 130 million copies worldwide. In a 2026 press release, VIZ separately reported more than 62 million hours streamed on Hulu, without specifying the measurement period in the cited passage, and more than 25 million social-content views and 105 million impressions in 2025. BLEACH FES. in Japan
The official anime site has announced BLEACH FES. for February 27–28, 2027, at Makuhari Messe Makuhari Event Hall in Japan. The notice lists general reserved tickets at ¥11,000 and a merchandise-seat option at ¥15,000; the latter includes a limited T-shirt set with an embroidered patch and storage box.
