The first teaser trailer for BLEACH: Thousand-Year Blood War – The Calamity premiered on December 21, 2025. Aniplex described it as a look back at the journey of those once called intruders and their challenge to the final battle. Part 4 is the anime project’s concluding cour, not a separate film or a second season.
When did the Bleach Thousand-Year Blood War Part 4 trailer come out?
Aniplex announced the teaser PV on December 21, 2025, and said it had been released. Its description frames the footage around the characters’ path to the final battle. The announcement does not identify a speaker or provide an official English-language quotation. Aniplex’s announcement is the primary source for the date and description.
What is Part 4, The Calamity?
The Calamity is the English subtitle used by VIZ for the final cour of the Thousand-Year Blood War anime. The official anime site identifies this installment as the final cour of the project adapting the manga’s concluding arc; Studio Pierrot handles animation production. It is the ending of the existing anime project, rather than a separately announced movie or another season. The official BLEACH anime site and VIZ’s guide to The Calamity provide the project and English-title context.
Where can you watch The Calamity?
VIZ lists Hulu on Disney+ in the United States and Disney+ internationally. The listed subtitle and dub options differ by platform and territory, so a service or language available in one country should not be assumed to be available everywhere. Consult VIZ’s current viewing guide for its territory-specific platform and language information.

When do the last two episodes stream?
The Japanese production committee’s September 12 notice moved episodes 49 and 50 to October 19 and October 26, 2026, for TV Tokyo network broadcasts, with streaming in Japan beginning October 20 and October 27, respectively. The committee said the schedule change was made to improve quality through the final episode. The committee’s schedule notice sets out those Japanese dates.
VIZ lists separate October dates for its subtitled streams and later dates for some dubbed releases. Those schedules are territory- and language-specific, not a single worldwide release calendar; check VIZ’s guide for the current details that apply to your location.

Is there a Blu-ray or DVD edition?
The official Japanese Part 4 page lists limited-edition Blu-ray and DVD releases. Each format is described as containing episodes 41–50 across two discs, along with a three-sided case, illustrated digijacket, booklet, eyecatch cards, and bonus video. Amazon.co.jp is listed among participating retailers for eligible purchase bonuses, including a B2 cloth poster and an A4 clear file. The page warns that specifications and benefits may change and retailer bonuses are limited. The official Japanese disc page does not establish US-edition availability, current stock or price, or compatibility with a player outside Japan; confirm those details with the seller before buying.

The official sources cited here do not establish a view count for the December 21 teaser. The official anime site also gives franchise-level figures—more than 130 million manga copies in cumulative circulation, more than 360 anime episodes produced, and four theatrical anime films—but does not state a publication year for those figures. They describe the wider BLEACH franchise, not performance or content specific to this teaser.

A US theatrical event for episodes 1–3, promoted by VIZ and Fathom, ran June 25–29, 2026. It included behind-the-scenes footage and an interview with creator Tite Kubo; the event and its ticket offers are past, not current viewing options. VIZ’s event and viewing information documents that promotion.
