Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War – The Conflict, Part 3, Episode 10 has already aired. Overall episode 36, titled “BABY,HOLD YOUR HAND 2 [NEVER ENDING MY DREAM],” centers on Nemu Kurotsuchi’s intervention in Mayuri’s fight against Pernida—and on the personal choice behind it. Shunsui Kyōraku’s battle with Lille Barro remains a major parallel storyline.
What is the title and episode number?
The official Bleach anime episode page lists the installment as episode 36, “BABY,HOLD YOUR HAND 2 [NEVER ENDING MY DREAM].” Apple TV catalogs it as Series 3, Episode 10, with a December 6, 2024 listing date for Brazil. The episode had already been released; the phrase “will push” in the original headline is best read as a preview framing, not a current release announcement.
Why does Nemu intervene against Pernida?
Nemu steps into Mayuri Kurotsuchi’s battle with Pernida Parnkgjas after Ashisogi Jizō proves unable to defeat the opponent. The official synopsis describes Pernida as continuing to transform and evolve by absorbing information. Against that escalating threat, Nemu chooses to carry out her mission by her own will rather than simply following Mayuri’s order.
That distinction makes Nemu the episode’s emotional focus: the action is not only a tactical intervention, but also a moment of agency. The episode frames her as making a decision for herself within a relationship in which Mayuri has directed her actions.

What else happens in the episode?
Nemu’s story is not the only major thread. Shunsui Kyōraku continues fighting Lille Barro, who attacks with his Quincy Voll Stern Dich, Ziliel. Shunsui responds by releasing his Bankai. The episode therefore moves between the danger surrounding Mayuri and Nemu and the escalating confrontation between Shunsui and Lille.
Which manga volume covers the related material?
For readers who want to compare the adaptation with the source manga, Shueisha’s contents listing for Bleach, Vol. 70 includes chapter 640, “BABY,HOLD YOUR HAND 3.” That related chapter title makes volume 70 a useful reference point for the episode’s storyline, but the volume is not an episode-specific product and the anime title does not map one-to-one to a single manga chapter.
