Coyote Starrk is the Primera Espada in Bleach, but his defining conflict is not simply how powerful he is. Studio Pierrot’s official profile links his strength to solitude: he became an Espada to ease that loneliness and was always looking for companions. His bond with Lilynette—and the way they reunite as Los Lobos—makes that paradox central to his character.
Who is Coyote Starrk?
Starrk is the First Espada, or Primera Espada, in Studio Pierrot’s official character profile. The profile also identifies his governing form of death as solitude. He is reluctant to take an active part in things, a disposition that remains even in battle; at the same time, the profile says he sought the Espada’s company to heal the loneliness caused by his strength. Studio Pierrot’s profile therefore frames his distance from others not as mere indifference, but as part of a painful tension between immense power and the desire for companionship.
The title’s phrase “ultimate Hollow” is evocative, not an established universal ranking. The cited official profile calls Starrk the Primera Espada; it does not rank him above every Hollow in Bleach.
Why did Starrk split his soul?
Studio Pierrot describes Starrk and Lilynette as two beings formed when a soul split in two during the evolution from Hollow to Arrancar. That makes Lilynette more than an ordinary subordinate: she is Starrk’s counterpart, and their relationship gives his search for companionship a concrete form.

The profile says they become one through Starrk’s Resurrección. Their reunion is thus not just a combat transformation; it is also the moment when the two halves of that divided existence come together.
What is Starrk’s Resurrección, Los Lobos?
Los Lobos is Starrk’s Resurrección. Studio Pierrot says it is released when he unites with Lilynette, and describes him controlling numerous wolf-shaped projectiles. The official Japanese profile gives the release command as 「蹴散らせ 群狼」; “Crush, Los Lobos” is a common English rendering, not wording quoted from an English version of that profile. The official character profile is the source for the release and its description.

How does the video game portray Starrk?
In BLEACH Rebirth of Souls, Bandai Namco presents Starrk with different play styles in his ordinary and awakened forms. Its character page describes resource use and ranged attacks, followed after awakening by a closer-range approach tied to a stock mechanic. These are adaptation-specific combat mechanics for the game, not claims about the manga’s power system. Bandai Namco’s Starrk page describes that game portrayal.
