Which Bleach episodes can you skip?
Anime Filler List classifies the following episodes of the original series as filler. These are the episodes to skip on the guide’s pure-filler-only route:
- 33 and 50
- 64–108
- 128–137
- 147–149
- 168–189
- 204–205
- 213–214
- 228–266
- 287
- 298–299
- 303–305
- 311–341
- 355
The guide counts 163 filler episodes out of the original anime’s 366. That total reflects its classification system, not an official studio designation. Anime Filler List’s guide was updated November 18, 2025.
What should you do with mixed canon/filler episodes?
For the most conservative manga-focused watch, keep the episodes Anime Filler List labels mixed canon/filler: the category means they include both types of material, not that the entire episode is pure filler.

If pacing matters more to you than retaining every mixed scene, you may choose to skip some or all of these, but that is a different trade-off: the selected guide does not classify them as wholly filler. Anime Filler List.
Why do Bleach filler lists disagree?
Episode labels are guide classifications, not an official episode-by-episode warning from the studio or broadcaster. Guides can also draw their skip boundaries differently. For example, BleachFillerList.co gives a 64–109 skip range, while Anime Filler List marks 64–108 as filler and 109 as mixed. This article uses Anime Filler List consistently: skip episodes it calls filler, and retain episodes it calls mixed for a more cautious route. A broader “skip anything outside the manga” approach can produce a different list.
Does this list include Thousand-Year Blood War?
No. The episode numbers above apply only to the original 366-episode Bleach anime. Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War has a separate guide entry, so its episodes should not be added to the original series’ numbering. Anime Filler List labels episode 45 of the sequel anime canon, but that separate classification does not change the original-series list. Original series guide; Thousand-Year Blood War guide.

Should you watch the anime or read the manga?
The anime adapts Tite Kubo’s manga, so readers who prefer the source story can follow the Bleach manga instead of using an episode skip list. Reading it is an alternative, not a requirement: the pure-filler list is for viewers who want to stay with the anime while avoiding episodes the cited guide classifies as filler.
