Blake’s 7 Series 3 is listed for Blu-ray release on 23 November 2026. The six-disc collection is described as containing all 13 episodes, newly remastered, with optional updated effects and a substantial mix of new and archival extras. It is the third season collection—not a new production or a complete-series box—and the listing warns that some discs may not play on standard US players.
What is the Blake’s 7 Series 3 Blu-ray?
The Limelight Collection product listing describes a six-disc set of Series 3, with all 13 episodes. It is a season-by-season release, rather than a single box containing the entire series. BBC Studios announced Series 1 on Blu-ray in 2024 and Series 2 in 2025, so Series 3 continues an existing collection rather than marking the show’s first Blu-ray appearance. The Series 3 listing identifies BBC as the studio.
When is it due out?
The Limelight Collection listing gives 23 November 2026 as the release date and says pre-orders are available. A Zavvi listing showed an estimated date of 31 December 2026, so retailer dates are not consistent. Check the retailer’s current listing before ordering; the November date is the one given by the Limelight Collection product page. Zavvi’s listing displays the later estimate.
What’s included on the discs?
Episodes and restoration
The product listing says all 13 episodes have been newly remastered from the best available sources. Its promotional wording is: “All 13 episodes have been newly remastered from the best available sources and have never looked or sounded so good on home media.” That is the seller’s description, not an independent assessment of picture or sound quality; no restoration resolution or technical review is specified in the cited listing.

Optional updated effects
The listing says brand-new optional updated effects are available on every episode and are exclusive to the Blu-ray set. They are described as optional, so the listing presents them as an alternative to the original effects rather than a replacement. It does not provide technical details about the changes.
Documentaries, interviews and archival material
Announced extras include a feature-length Series 3 documentary, an archival “Making Of Blake’s 7” installment, a Paul Darrow tribute, an interview with Jan Chappell, and a conversation with Rebecca and Joel Nation. The listing also names convention footage, audio commentaries, HD photo galleries, a PDF production archive and BBC archive material. These are features announced by the product listing; their contents and quality have not been independently reviewed here.

Check the region compatibility of your particular player and the retailer’s current compatibility information before purchasing. The available listing does not establish that a US-compatible edition is available.

BBC Studios announced the Series 1 Blu-ray in 2024 and Series 2 in 2025. The Series 3 listing adds the next season to that sequence; it does not say that the earlier seasons are included in this set. BBC Studios’ Series 1 announcement and Series 2 announcement document those earlier releases.
