Was every reviewer or streamer told not to discuss politics?
No. WIRED reported that the broader topic restrictions were not part of every early-review arrangement. Polygon and Kotaku, for example, received spoiler-focused embargoes without the wider list of subjects. PC Gamer reported that Game Science responded to questions about the founders’ earlier remarks with, “We have no comment, we’re sorry.” That response concerned PC Gamer’s questions; it does not confirm who authored or issued the creator guidance.
