The official Black Clover anime website gives the manga’s serialization span as February 2015 through May 2026. Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump series page identifies its start as issue 12 of 2015 and credits Yūki Tabata as its creator.

Calling the run “about 11 years” is an approximation, not an exact duration: the dates supplied by the official site are February 2015 and May 2026. Kakao Piccoma also described the series as having run for about 11 years in its July 29, 2026 completion announcement.
What does “ended” mean for the series?
The manga’s serialization is complete, and the final collected volume marks the end of the story’s volume release. It does not mean the entire Black Clover franchise has ended. Shueisha’s official series page promoted a second anime season beginning October 3, 2026; viewers should check the current broadcast listing for their own market.

Where can readers find the ending?
Shueisha’s series page lists Black Clover through volume 38. In a July 29, 2026 announcement, Kakao Piccoma said the final collected volume was scheduled for release in Japan on August 4, 2026. That is a Japanese release date, not a confirmed date for English editions or every territory. Check a local publisher or authorized retailer for the edition, format, release date, and availability that apply to you.
The series follows Asta, who pursues the goal of becoming the Wizard King in a world where magic is central, despite being born without magic. He later gains Anti-Magic. Shueisha’s listing for volume 37, released in Japan on September 4, 2025, places that volume in the climactic battle against Lucius; it is volume-level context, not a synopsis of the finale.

How many copies has Black Clover sold?
Two official sources report different circulation figures, and neither explains the difference in metric or timing. The official Black Clover anime website states that more than 25 million copies have been sold; Kakao Piccoma’s July 29, 2026 announcement gives worldwide cumulative circulation of more than 24.5 million copies. These should be treated as separately attributed publisher figures, not combined into a single total.
