What product did Billie Eilish use?
NewBeauty reported in December 2024 that Eilish used SACHEU Lip Liner Stay-N as the base of her tour lip routine, then applied Tower 28 One Liner in Work of Art over it. She finished by blotting with a cotton round. NewBeauty also reported that her routine video received “over four million likes in just 24 hours”; that is the publication’s 2024 figure, not a current count. NewBeauty’s routine report
SACHEU describes Stay-N as a peel-off lip stain: you draw it on, let the product form a film, and peel the film away to leave color. The brand calls it long-wearing and smudge-proof, but those are product claims rather than independently established guarantees.
Is it still $12?
Not at the price shown on SACHEU’s product page when accessed on October 4, 2026: it displayed $14. NewBeauty reported $12 in 2024, and Who What Wear listed $12 in June 2025. Which shade was reported as hers?
Who What Wear identified nOOHde, a rosy brown, as the shade used by Eilish and Sofia Richie Grainge in its June 2025 coverage. Treat that as a reported shade attribution from that article, not confirmation of a current endorsement. SACHEU’s product page listed 16 shades when accessed on October 4, 2026; shade availability and names may change.
How to apply SACHEU Stay-N
The brand’s directions call for a clean, dry lip surface. In particular, do not put balm or another lip product underneath the stain, as it may interfere with application.

- Apply the stain to bare lips and trace the lip line.
- Wait 5–7 minutes for the film to set.
- Peel away the film. SACHEU suggests finishing with its Lip Elixir.
SACHEU advises against using the product on chapped lips. Its page describes the formula as containing hyaluronic acid and vitamin E, but that does not establish that every user will find it comfortable.
What to know about application and comfort
In a January 28, 2026 review, Live That Glow writer Philippa Pearne said she found it difficult to draw a precise outline, that the shade looked darker than she expected, and that her lips felt dry after use. This is one reviewer’s account, not a result that predicts everyone’s experience. The contrast is worth keeping in mind: the brand describes the formula as nourishing, while Pearne reported dryness. The reported routine combines the peel-off stain with a conventional liner on top, rather than using Stay-N alone: a quick wipe with a cotton swab, SACHEU Stay-N, Tower 28 One Liner in Work of Art, then a blot with a cotton round. The steps and products are NewBeauty’s description of the routine, not a guarantee that the same combination will wear identically for other people.
