Billie Eilish announced HIT ME HARD AND SOFT: THE TOUR on April 29, 2024, as an arena tour supporting her third studio album. The original 2024–25 itinerary was later expanded: Live Nation announced 23 additional dates in Japan and the United States in May 2025, extending the announced finale from Dublin to San Francisco on November 23, 2025. The tour has ended.
When did Billie Eilish announce the tour?
The initial announcement came on April 29, 2024. Universal Music Canada described a Live Nation-produced arena tour supporting HIT ME HARD AND SOFT, which was scheduled for release on May 17, 2024. The album was Eilish’s third studio album; Live Nation later said it was released that day through Darkroom/Interscope Records. Billie Eilish and her brother FINNEAS wrote the album, and FINNEAS produced it. Universal Music Canada’s announcement and the Associated Press report document the original announcement.
In the album-announcement caption reproduced by the AP, Eilish wrote, “I wanna give it to you all at once,” and, “I truly could not be more proud of this album.”
How the announced schedule changed
The dates refer to two different schedule announcements. The first outlined a run across North America, Australia, Europe, the U.K., and Ireland. On May 19, 2025, Live Nation announced 23 more arena dates in Japan and the U.S. The promoter said the expanded tour would total 106 dates and finish in San Francisco.

- Billie Eilish's third studio album, HIT ME HARD AND SOFT, released via Darkroom/Interscope Records is her most daring body of work to date, a diverse yet cohesive collection of songs - ideally listened to in its entirety from beginning to end - does exactly as the album title suggests; hits you hard and soft both lyrically and sonically, while bending genres and defying trends along the way
| Schedule | Announcement | Geographic scope | Announced ending |

The original North American dates were scheduled for September through December 2024, followed by Australia in February 2025 and European, U.K., and Irish arena shows from April through late July. The tour was scheduled to open in Québec City on September 29, 2024. The AP’s report gives Dublin on July 27, 2025, as the original closing stop.
The 2025 addition began with two Tokyo dates, August 16 and 17, followed by U.S. arena dates in the fall. The announced U.S. stops included Miami, Orlando, Raleigh, Charlotte, Philadelphia, Long Island, New Orleans, Tulsa, Austin, Phoenix, and San Francisco. Is the Hit Me Hard and Soft tour still happening?
No. The expanded schedule announced a final show for November 23, 2025, at Chase Center in San Francisco. The tour is a completed run, not an upcoming tour. The cited announcements do not establish current ticket inventory, resale listings, or dates for a future Billie Eilish tour.
What the tour announcements said about sustainability
The tour announcements described a partnership with environmental nonprofit REVERB. The stated initiatives included Eco-Villages in venue main concourses, efforts to reduce greenhouse-gas pollution and single-use plastics, and opportunities for audience members to participate in climate action. For the later Japan and U.S. dates, Live Nation said $1 from each ticket sold would go to REVERB and described a 50% contribution from the Changemaker ticket to the REVERB Climate Impact Fund and Support+Feed. These are commitments described in the tour announcements, not reported environmental-impact totals for the tour.

The original announcement also encouraged practical choices for attendees: use public transit or carpool, bring an empty reusable bottle for venue refill stations, and consider thrifted, upcycled, or borrowed concert clothing. It mentioned plant-based concession options in partnership with Support+Feed. Frontier Touring’s announcement also described planned physical album formats with limited variants, a shared track listing, and 100% recyclable materials; it does not establish current edition availability.

In its May 19, 2025 announcement, Live Nation said “BIRDS OF A FEATHER” had passed 2.5 billion Spotify streams and was then Spotify’s most-streamed song by a female artist in the previous decade. This is a ranking reported by the promoter as of that announcement, not a current ranking check. Live Nation’s May 2025 release gives the claim in its original time context.
