Big Brother 27 showed Vince and Morgan growing unusually close, but the available reporting does not establish that they were a couple or that they shared an unambiguous romantic kiss. Whether their affection crossed a boundary is a judgment call, made more complicated by Vince’s girlfriend, Kelsey, saying she had not approved flirting as a game strategy.
How Vince and Morgan became a Big Brother 27 storyline
TV Insider/Swooon reports that Vince, Morgan, Mickey Lee, and Zach Cornell formed the Melting Pot alliance in Week 4. After Zach’s Week 5 eviction and a Week 6 betrayal involving Mickey, Vince and Morgan became close allies. The outlet describes a clip in which Morgan says “I love you” and kisses Vince’s shoulder as she gets up from cuddling. That reported moment fueled speculation, but a shoulder kiss is not evidence of a confirmed romantic relationship.

TV Insider/Swooon also reported that viewers discussed Vince and Morgan showering side by side and forgetting towels. Former houseguest Mickey Lee later said the shower situation “solidified it” for her that they had taken things to another level. The disputed live-feed clip
A clip circulated on September 4 that some viewers interpreted as Vince kissing Morgan before getting into an adjacent bed and later holding hands with her. TV Insider/Swooon itself described the footage as uncertain: what looked like a kiss could have been whispering or a forehead kiss. The report does not establish an unambiguous kiss on the lips. What Kelsey, Vince, and Morgan said
Kelsey’s account of their boundaries
On August 28, Kelsey publicly rejected the claim that she had approved flirting as strategy. TV Insider/Swooon reproduced her comment: “I never gave an OK to flirt as a strategy” and “We talked extensively about boundaries before he left.” The same outlet reported that Kelsey and Vince had been together for seven years and that she sent him a letter during his HOH. Those remarks conflict with the account that Vince had said flirting for strategic purposes was acceptable. Because the accounts differ, it is not possible to state as fact that Kelsey had agreed to this particular dynamic or that Vince knowingly violated an agreed boundary.

The friendship and chemistry account
TV Insider/Swooon reports that Vince and Morgan denied being more than close friends; Parade reports Vince described their connection as “human chemistry.” Neither statement resolves how Kelsey viewed their conduct, and neither turns fan speculation into proof of a romance. The exchange made the question part of the broadcast storyline, but it was a joke about the appearance of their closeness—not proof that the two had become a couple.
September 18: an alliance with game consequences
In Episode 33, Morgan used the veto on Ava and Vince named Lauren as the replacement nominee. Reality TV World’s recap says Morgan pressured Vince about Lauren and that nominating her pleased Morgan and secured their bond. So, did Vince and Morgan cross the line?
There is no objective verdict in the available reporting, because “the line” depends on the boundaries Vince and Kelsey had agreed to before the season. Viewers can reasonably see repeated cuddling and other affectionate behavior as too intimate for someone in a relationship; others may accept the participants’ description of a close friendship. Kelsey’s public comments make clear that she disputed at least one version of the story—that she had approved flirting as a strategy.
The careful conclusion is narrower than the headline’s provocation: the show and reports documented affection, and Kelsey challenged the idea that she had consented to strategic flirting. They do not establish a confirmed romance or an unambiguous romantic kiss.
