Kanye West shared a photo of Bianca Censori at a kitchen sink in January 2024, according to PerthNow. Some commenters quoted in the outlet called her “trapped” or “brainwashed”; those were their interpretations, not verified findings about Censori’s wellbeing or her relationship.
What was in the photo?
PerthNow reported on 21 January 2024 that West had shared the image on Instagram the previous Saturday, 20 January. The outlet described Censori standing at a kitchen sink in a beige one-piece swimsuit, a black leather face mask and knee-high boots. It attributed the caption “Cream of wheat” to West. PerthNow’s report is the source for these details; the original post’s current availability has not been established.

Why did some commenters say she was “brainwashed”?
PerthNow quoted social-media commenters who expressed concern and described Censori as “trapped” or “brainwashed.” The outlet also quoted a commenter who argued that she was an adult able to make her own decisions. These are selected reactions reported by the outlet, not evidence of what Censori thinks, whether she consented to the image, or what happens in her relationship.
What the report does—and does not—establish
The report is about a photo and the reactions it prompted. Its quoted comments do not establish that Censori was coerced, unhappy, trapped or brainwashed. PerthNow identified her at the time as an Australian architect and reported her age as 29; that age refers to the period of the 2024 story, not her current age.
