The park’s current rules say shoes must be worn at all times, but reports do not establish whether staff intervened or classified her foot coverings as footwear.
What the April 2024 footage appeared to show
On April 17, 2024, Entertainment Weekly reported that online videos appeared to show Censori and Kanye West in Disneyland’s Galaxy’s Edge area. The report described tan-colored material wrapped around her feet and said the footage showed a Disneyland cast member leading the group.
The Independent’s April 17 report described what it called medical wrap around the soles of Censori’s feet and ankles. These descriptions are accounts of circulating footage, not an official explanation from Disney or confirmation of what the coverings were.
What Disneyland’s shoe rule says
Disneyland Resort’s current park rules state: “Proper attire, including shoes and shirts, must be worn at all times.” The rules also reserve the resort’s right to deny admission or remove a guest for attire it considers inappropriate or likely to detract from the guest experience.

Entertainment Weekly quoted the attire policy posted at the time of its April 2024 report as saying styles including “bare feet” may result in refusal of admittance or ejection. That is the report’s quotation of the then-posted wording; the current official page uses the broader requirement that shoes be worn at all times.
What is not known about staff response
Entertainment Weekly said it contacted representatives for Disneyland and West for comment, but did not report a response or confirm an enforcement action. The available reports do not establish whether staff asked Censori to change, whether the coverings were accepted as shoes, or whether the resort formally found a dress-code violation.

So the footage and reports suggest an apparent conflict with the general shoe requirement, but they do not show how Disney classified the coverings or handled the visit. They also do not establish why Censori wore them.
