What Beatles song does Beyoncé cover?
“BLACKBIIRD” is Beyoncé’s remake of The Beatles’ “Blackbird,” the 1968 song written by Paul McCartney. McCartney praised her version, saying, “I think she does a magnificent version of it, and it reinforces the civil rights message that inspired me to write the song in the first place.” Axios reported McCartney’s comment on April 5, 2024.
McCartney wrote the original and commented on Beyoncé’s cover; those facts do not mean he performed on or produced her recording.
Which songs feature Miley Cyrus and Post Malone?
- “II MOST WANTED” features Miley Cyrus with Beyoncé.
- “LEVII’S JEANS” features Post Malone with Beyoncé.
Both songs appear on the album’s official track list. Sony’s contributor list also names artists including Dolly Parton, Willie Nelson, Linda Martell, Stevie Wonder, Chuck Berry, Jon Batiste, Rhiannon Giddens, Nile Rodgers and Shaboozey. Apple Music’s track notes identify the Cyrus and Post Malone collaborations. See the Apple Music listing.

Sony describes the project as deeply rooted in country while drawing on other traditions, including R&B, blues, zydeco and Black folk. That is the label’s description of the album’s musical range. Apple Music categorizes it as a country album and places it in the context of Black country music history. Beyoncé’s own framing, quoted in Apple Music’s editorial notes, was: “This ain’t a country album. This is a Beyoncé album.”

She also said, in Sony’s release announcement, “The joy of creating music is that there are no rules.” The 27-track album brings country references into conversation with a wider range of musical styles and histories.
