Do not assume that every plan has the same output or playlist capacity. Castr’s pages say limits vary by plan; its published material identifies looping on Premium and higher, and 1080p at 25–60 fps on Ultra and Events, while other plans output 720p at 30 fps. A separate prerecorded-live page gives playlist capacities of two videos on Starter and Standard, 10 on Premium, and 15 on Ultra. 4. Restream: playlist events, not a confirmed 24/7 station
Restream documents creating and scheduling a stream from a video playlist, with a maximum playlist duration of 24 hours on the cited help page. Its YouTube live-event instructions include Studio, RTMP, Video File, and Playlist as source choices. Copyright and channel-policy checks for documentary playlists
Automation does not grant rights to the footage or soundtrack. Before scheduling a documentary, confirm you have the rights or license needed to stream every video and audio element on YouTube. A playlist can include public-domain or properly licensed material, but public availability online is not proof of permission to rebroadcast. Keep license records and any required attribution with the production files.
Also consider whether a channel built from prerecorded material offers viewers meaningful original value.
