This is a subjective ranking of feature films produced or co-produced by WWE Studios—not an official WWE list or a critics’ consensus. WWE’s film slate includes theatrical, direct-to-DVD, and made-for-television releases, so the ranking considers each movie in the context of its genre and audience.
How this ranking works
WWE Films was renamed WWE Studios in 2008, and the company’s slate grew beyond theatrical releases to include direct-to-DVD and television films. WWE’s 2017 announcement also described an expanded remit across scripted and unscripted television, family and animated programming, and digital content; this list stays with feature films. WWE’s 2008 name-change announcement · WWE’s 2017 studio announcement
The order weighs execution and performances, distinctiveness within the studio’s catalog, entertainment value, use of genre, and interest for viewers who follow WWE talent. It is an editorial recommendation, not a data-driven ranking: the cited material does not provide a consistent review-score set or a reliable critical or audience consensus.
“WWE movie” can mean different things. This ranking is limited to titles made or co-made by WWE Studios/WWE Films; a film acquired or distributed by the company is not automatically a studio production. WWE’s annual reports help establish release format and studio involvement, but association with the brand alone is not enough to determine a film’s place here. WWE annual reports

The ranking
1. Fighting with My Family
The strongest starting point for viewers who want a wrestling story that works as a character-focused feature, not just a collection of in-ring references. WWE named the film in a 2019 studio announcement, making it an easy pick for fans curious about the company’s better-known narrative-film work. Its placement at the top reflects this list’s emphasis on distinctiveness and crossover appeal, rather than any claim of universal critical agreement. WWE’s 2019 announcement
2. The Call
A good choice for viewers who want a tense thriller rather than a wrestling-centered story. WWE listed The Call among its 2013 theatrical releases, which distinguishes it from the direct-to-DVD and made-for-television titles in that year’s slate. Its genre gives it a clear identity within the catalog, and it is a strong entry point for people who do not follow WWE. WWE’s 2013 annual report
3. See No Evil
For horror fans, See No Evil is one of the most natural WWE Studios picks: it leans into a recognizable genre instead of asking viewers to approach it as wrestling programming. WWE’s 2010 annual report identifies it among the studio’s films. Put it ahead of the action sequels if atmosphere and slasher conventions matter more to you than franchise familiarity. 4. The Marine
The Marine represents the studio’s action side and the franchise that WWE has continued to highlight among its films. It is a sensible pick for viewers looking for a straightforward action movie associated with WWE talent, rather than a dramatic or documentary-style wrestling story. WWE’s 2010 annual report lists the film as part of the studio’s slate. WWE’s 2010 annual report · WWE’s studio announcement

One of the early slate’s more overtly high-concept action choices. It belongs on a shortlist for viewers who want a hard-edged action setup and are willing to choose a movie for its premise and pace rather than its connection to wrestling. WWE’s 2010 annual report includes it among the studio’s theatrical and direct-to-DVD work. WWE’s 2010 annual report
6. 12 Rounds
A franchise entry for action fans who prefer a fast-moving, star-led thriller. WWE’s 2010 annual report lists 12 Rounds among its films; the company’s 2013 report separately identifies 12 Rounds 2: Reloaded as a direct-to-DVD release. 7. Knucklehead
A lighter alternative to the studio’s action and horror titles. Knucklehead suits viewers looking for comedy and a gentler tone, especially if the appeal is seeing a familiar WWE performer in a broad entertainment role. WWE’s 2010 annual report describes it as a title released after the company began self-distributing in 2010. WWE’s 2010 annual report
8. The Marine 2
Choose this one if you already enjoy the action-franchise format and want another entry in a series WWE has highlighted. It is less useful as a first film than the original The Marine, but it broadens the list beyond one-off titles. WWE’s 2010 annual report names it among the studio’s releases. WWE’s 2010 annual report
9. 12 Rounds 2: Reloaded
A direct-to-DVD action sequel for viewers who want more of the 12 Rounds formula. WWE’s 2013 annual report explicitly places it among that year’s direct-to-DVD releases, so it is best approached as a home-release franchise entry rather than compared as if it had the same release model as a theatrical title. 10. The Marine 3: Homefront
Another home-release action sequel, and an option for viewers who want to continue the Marine series. WWE’s 2013 annual report identifies it as a direct-to-DVD release. The lower placement reflects the list’s preference for distinctive stand-alone picks and first entries, not a comparison against a shared critical-score standard. WWE’s 2013 annual report

Several other films belong in the conversation, even if they are not in the top ten above. WWE’s 2013 annual report lists No One Lives and Dead Man Down among theatrical releases, and identifies Christmas Bounty as a made-for-television film. Those release distinctions matter when deciding what to watch: a TV movie, a direct-to-DVD sequel, and a theatrical genre film were made for different contexts and should not be treated as interchangeable categories. Behind Enemy Lines: Colombia, The Marine 2, and Legendary also appear in WWE’s 2010 annual report’s discussion of the studio slate.
