If you want a standout Mufasa centerpiece, Beast Kingdom’s Master Craft Mufasa statue (MC-085) is the strongest documented solo display piece in this guide: it stands approximately 36 cm tall and was announced as a limited edition of 3,000. It is a statue, not an articulated action figure. For a group scene, Disney Store’s 30th Anniversary figurine playset includes Mufasa with Zazu, while other options pair Mufasa with Simba or present him as a soft collectible.
What to know before choosing a Mufasa figure
“Action figure” can imply movable joints and poseability, but the documented products here are primarily statues, sculpted figurines, sets, and a plush collectible. The product listings cited below do not establish articulation, so treat them as display collectibles unless the seller specifically confirms otherwise. The products also vary in whether Mufasa appears alone, alongside Simba, or as part of a larger scene.
The options are associated with The Lion King, but the cited product pages do not establish that every item depicts a particular film version of Mufasa. Disney UK lists Mufasa: The Lion King with a release date of 20 December 2024; its press kit describes the story as a flashback told to Kiara, beginning with Mufasa as an orphaned cub who meets Taka. Disney UK’s film information and press kit provide that context, not a product-by-product identification.

| Hasbro Circle of Life Figure Gift Pack | A group scene for play or display | Hasbro’s product information lists Mufasa, Sarabi, Rafiki with baby Simba, Pumbaa, Timon, a zebra, and a gorilla. | Multi-character figure pack. Best Mufasa centerpiece: Beast Kingdom Master Craft MC-085
For a collection organized around a single Mufasa, the Master Craft statue is the clearest fit. Hot Toys Japan lists the piece at approximately 36 cm, a June 2025 release, and a worldwide limited run of 3,000. Those are product specifications, not evidence of resale value or collector demand. Hot Toys Japan’s MC-085 listing provides the release and edition details. The format is a display statue; the listing does not describe it as a poseable figure.
Check current stock before planning a purchase: Sideshow’s Beast Kingdom listing showed the statue unavailable when checked. That snapshot does not establish whether it may return or appear through other sellers.

Best multi-character display: Disney Store 30th Anniversary playset
Choose this set if you want Mufasa as part of a broader Lion King display rather than as a solo focal point. Disney Store describes the figures as fully sculpted plastic and lists Mufasa with Zazu among a line-up that also includes adult and young Simba, Rafiki with baby Simba, Scar, Pumbaa, Timon, Shenzi, Banzai, and Ed. Its “8-piece” label is not a straightforward count of the named characters, so rely on the listed contents rather than interpreting it as eight characters. Disney Store Europe’s playset listing is the reference for the contents.
Best group pack for a Circle of Life scene: Hasbro
Hasbro’s Circle of Life Figure Gift Pack is another group-display option. Its product information names Mufasa and Sarabi, Rafiki with baby Simba, Pumbaa, Timon, a zebra, and a gorilla. The cited page is an instruction resource, not confirmation that the pack is currently sold or that its figures have movable joints. Hasbro’s Circle of Life Figure Gift Pack page documents the included characters.

Best small paired figurine: Enesco and Jim Shore
Enesco’s Simba & Mufasa figurine is a compact option if a two-character display suits your shelf better than a large centerpiece. Sideshow lists it as resin, approximately 4.41 inches (11 cm) tall, under SKU 906071. It depicts Simba with Mufasa rather than offering Mufasa alone. Sideshow’s Enesco listing gives the material, dimensions, and SKU.
Best soft collectible: Steiff Mufasa and Simba
Collectors who prefer handmade plush to sculpted display pieces can consider Steiff’s Mufasa and Simba 30th Anniversary collectible. Disney Store Europe lists it as handmade, gives Mufasa’s height as approximately 17 cm, and identifies a limited edition of 1,994 for adult collectors. It is a soft collectible rather than an action figure, and the listing showed it sold out when checked. Disney Store Europe’s Steiff listing contains those details.

How to choose the right Mufasa collectible
- For a solo display focal point: Start with the Beast Kingdom Master Craft MC-085; it is the only option here documented as a large, Mufasa-only statue.
- For a Pride Lands group: Compare the Disney Store playset’s listed cast with Hasbro’s Circle of Life pack, and verify stock and contents with the seller.
- For a compact shelf: The Enesco/Jim Shore piece is the smallest specified sculpted option, but it includes Simba.
- For a soft collectible: Steiff’s Mufasa and Simba offers a handmade plush format rather than a sculpted figure.
- If poseability matters: Do not infer it from the words “figure” or “playset.” Confirm joint articulation in the exact product listing before buying.
What these listings do—and do not—establish
The cited listings provide product formats, selected dimensions, edition counts, and included characters. They do not establish a current market ranking, sales figures, market size, price history, or collector demand. Availability is also time-sensitive: the Sideshow Master Craft listing and Disney Store Europe Steiff listing showed unavailable or sold out when checked on 8 October 2026. Verify live stock and seller details before purchasing.
For film context, Disney UK’s press kit describes Mufasa: The Lion King as combining live-action filmmaking techniques with photoreal computer-generated imagery and identifies Barry Jenkins as director. That describes the film’s production, not the design or screen-version accuracy of any collectible in this guide. Disney UK’s official press kit is the source for that context.
