There is not enough verified, current provider information to name a single “best Indian VPS” for looping real estate videos on YouTube Live. A sound choice depends on the India region available to your account, the stream’s sustained bitrate, included outbound transfer and overage charges, and the VM’s ability to handle your video workflow. Choose those requirements first, then compare providers’ current official plans. If you would rather not manage a server, StreamNeo is a cloud alternative for keeping uploaded videos live on YouTube.
What an Indian VPS needs to do for a 24/7 real estate stream
A VPS is a rented virtual machine, not a video-hosting service by itself. To keep a prerecorded property tour or promotional reel live, the machine must run an encoder or playback process continuously and send its output to YouTube. You remain responsible for configuring the software, protecting the stream key, monitoring the process, and recovering it if the VM or stream stops.
Do not choose a plan on the basis of “India VPS” alone. First specify the video and stream you intend to run; then confirm that the plan can sustain that workload and that its transfer allowance covers continuous outbound traffic.
Set the YouTube stream requirements before comparing VPS plans
Choose resolution, frame rate, codec and bitrate
YouTube’s encoder recommendations vary by codec, resolution and frame rate. For H.264 at 720p and 30 fps, YouTube lists a recommended bitrate of 8 Mbps. That is a YouTube ingestion recommendation, not a VPS specification: CPU and memory needs depend on whether your workflow sends the source through without re-encoding or converts it before upload. Check YouTube’s current encoder settings against your intended output.

YouTube recommends RTMPS, constant bitrate (CBR), and a two-second keyframe interval; do not exceed four seconds. It lists support for RTMP/RTMPS, H.264, H.265/HEVC and AV1, up to 60 fps, and AAC or MP3 audio. Match settings to the source and encoder rather than assuming a more powerful VPS will improve a video that is already encoded appropriately.
Estimate continuous outbound transfer
Streaming sends data outward for every hour the broadcast runs. Estimate monthly transfer as bitrate in megabits per second × seconds streamed ÷ 8, then convert bytes to the provider’s stated units. For scale, a sustained 8 Mbps for 30 days is approximately 2.592 TB decimal, before protocol overhead. This is arithmetic, not a provider allowance, and your real-estate loop may use a different bitrate. Add operating margin and verify the provider’s included outbound transfer, billing units, and overage policy.

Use secure ingestion
YouTube recommends RTMPS. Google’s RTMPS ingestion guide, updated September 14, 2026, specifies the appropriate YouTube RTMPS endpoint on port 443 and the correct hostname for TLS SNI authentication. If using an encoder or script, use the endpoint and server URL YouTube provides for your broadcast; do not substitute a guessed hostname.
YouTube also supports HLS ingestion. Its HLS guide requires HTTPS POST or PUT, media segments from one to four seconds, muxed M2TS media, H.264 or HEVC video, AAC audio, and a closed GOP. Google describes HLS as appropriate for high-quality or high-resolution streams where comparatively higher latency is acceptable. For a straightforward looping stream, follow the ingestion method your encoder supports and YouTube’s current instructions.

How to evaluate VPS providers without guessing at a “best” plan
No current, independently verified comparison establishes a winning Indian VPS plan, its recurring total cost, or its India-specific streaming performance. Use provider plan pages and account availability checks to compare candidates against the same workload. A nearby region may make your management connection more convenient, but it does not by itself prove better YouTube ingestion or viewer playback.
| Check | What to verify on the provider’s current plan page | Why it matters |
|---|---|---|
| India region | Whether an India location is available to your account and on the specific plan | Region availability can vary by plan or account; a provider’s general India presence is not proof that a suitable VM can be provisioned. |
| Outbound transfer | Included monthly egress, any throughput limits, billing units, overage rate and throttling policy | A continuous stream can use substantial transfer; an attractive VM price may not reflect the full recurring cost. |
| Compute and encoding | CPU and RAM, storage, and whether hardware acceleration is available if your encoder needs it | Playback or stream-copying and live re-encoding have different resource demands. Test the actual file and settings. |
| Full monthly cost | VM charge plus tax, public IPv4, storage, backups and transfer charges | Compare the payable total, not only the headline instance price. |
| Operations and recovery | Monitoring, restart options, support scope and backup policy | A VM can remain available while the encoder process or YouTube connection has stopped; recovery may require your own configuration and attention. |
Ask the provider or check its documentation for sustained outbound throughput, not only a burst figure. Before committing to long billing, test a representative stream for stability and watch CPU, memory, network use and encoder errors. Do not treat a short successful test as proof of uninterrupted 24/7 operation.

Configure the channel and prepare the loop
- Confirm channel eligibility. YouTube says the channel must be verified and must not have a live-streaming restriction within the preceding 90 days. Check the channel’s current live-streaming status in YouTube Studio before provisioning a server. See YouTube’s live-streaming setup requirements.
- Create the live stream in YouTube Studio. Use the live control room to create or schedule the broadcast and obtain the server URL and stream key presented for the encoder connection. Interface labels can change; follow the current live setup flow in YouTube Studio.
- Keep the key private. Enter it only in the encoder or streaming service. Do not put it in a public script, screenshot, command history or shared configuration. Regenerate it in YouTube if it is exposed.
- Prepare a clean, continuous source. Check that the property video plays through without unintended gaps, black frames or audio issues. Confirm that you have the necessary rights to every video and audio element and that the content complies with YouTube policies.
- Run the stream and verify it in the live control room. Confirm that YouTube receives the expected resolution, frame rate and audio before leaving the process unattended. Keep an independent copy of the source file.
Plan around YouTube’s archive and DVR limits
YouTube says live streams shorter than 12 hours are automatically archived; a stream exceeding 12 hours may not be captured at all. DVR rewind may also be limited or unavailable on longer streams. If you need a replay or rewind, consider ending and restarting shorter sessions and retain a separate source archive. See YouTube’s guidance on archiving live streams and DVR on live streams.
Troubleshooting a VPS-based YouTube loop
- YouTube shows no incoming video: Check that the broadcast is actually live, that the encoder uses the matching server URL and stream key, and that outbound traffic is permitted. If the key may have been exposed, replace it and update the encoder.
- The stream disconnects repeatedly: Check encoder logs, VM resource pressure and sustained network throughput. Confirm that your own process supervisor or monitoring setup restarts the encoder when it exits; a VPS does not automatically manage every application process.
- The picture stutters or the encoder falls behind: Compare actual CPU and memory use with the chosen resolution, frame rate and encoding method. Re-encoding may require more compute than sending an already encoded source through. Test a lower output load or a VM configuration suited to the actual encoding workload.
- Transfer use or charges are higher than expected: Recalculate from the measured bitrate and actual streaming hours, then compare with the provider’s billing units and egress policy. Include overhead and check whether the plan throttles or charges for excess transfer.
- The broadcast is live but no replay appears: Check the session length. YouTube warns that streams over 12 hours may not be captured, so an uninterrupted day-long loop is not a dependable way to create an archive.
Or let it run in the cloud
If you do not want to provision a VM, configure an encoder and supervise its recovery, StreamNeo is a managed option for looping uploaded videos to YouTube. Upload your recording or build a playlist, add your YouTube stream key, and go live. It runs from the cloud, so no computer or home connection has to stay on; it automatically recovers if YouTube drops the stream. Uploaded video streams as made, up to 4K 60 fps, at one flat price per slot with no re-encoding or quality tiers.
