One free scan finds every outdated or missing driver and matches the right update for your exact hardware.Free scan · exact hardware matchThe strongest starting points are two distinct official figure lines: GUNDAM UNIVERSE, explicitly described as a six-inch-format action-figure series, and METAL BUILD, a separate collector line with releases such as Strike Freedom Gundam Revival Ver. and Force Impulse Gundam. Choose by the mobile suit you want, then check the individual product listing for its specifications, release channel, timing, and availability in your country.
Which Gundam action figures are worth considering?
There is no single best figure for every collection: the official catalog points to different lines and named mobile suits rather than one universal recommendation. These examples are a useful shortlist, not a hands-on ranking.
| Line | What the official catalog establishes | Examples | What to check |
|---|---|---|---|
| GUNDAM UNIVERSE | TAMASHII WEB describes it as an action-figure series in a global-standard six-inch format, with simple construction and an elegant silhouette. | Mighty Strike Freedom Gundam; Strike Freedom renewal release. | Confirm the specific version and its listing details; the line description does not establish the specifications of every individual release. |
| METAL BUILD | A distinct figure line with Gundam products listed in the official catalog. | Strike Freedom Gundam <Revival Ver.>; Force Impulse Gundam. | Check the individual figure’s specifications, release channel, and local availability. The reviewed listings do not establish a consistent size comparison with GUNDAM UNIVERSE. |
How should you choose between the lines?
Start with the mobile suit and version
Use the official product listings to narrow the choice to a design you actually want to collect. The catalog includes Mighty Strike Freedom Gundam, Strike Freedom variants, and Force Impulse Gundam; a shared character or mobile-suit name does not mean two releases are the same product. Read the full product name, including terms such as “renewal” or “Revival Ver.,” before comparing listings.
Use scale only where it is stated
GUNDAM UNIVERSE is described as a six-inch-format line. That is a line-level description, not proof that every figure measures exactly six inches in every pose or that it is directly comparable to every METAL BUILD release. Check an individual product’s specifications when size matters to your display.

Compare release details, not assumptions
Official Gundam listings include retail releases, web-shop products, and lottery-sale items. The channel can affect how a figure is offered, so verify the specific listing rather than assuming every item is sold through ordinary retail. Listings also carry product-specific preorder and release timing; those dates are not a guarantee of present availability.

The official catalog is useful for identifying lines, product names, and release details, but it does not establish live retailer stock or availability in a particular country. Once you have selected a figure, check its official listing and a retailer serving your market. Confirm whether the offer is a preorder, a released product, or a limited sale, and review the seller’s own delivery and return terms before ordering.
