What did Barry Keoghan say about a prosthetic?
In a November 2024 report about The Louis Theroux Podcast, Yahoo Entertainment said Keoghan was asked about speculation that he wore a prosthetic in the film’s final nude dance. His reported response was: “It was all me.” Yahoo Entertainment’s report is the available source for that specific exchange; the answer should therefore be attributed to Keoghan as reported by Yahoo, rather than presented as independently checked against the podcast audio.

Which scene is the question about?
The question concerns the ending of Emerald Fennell’s Saltburn, in which Keoghan’s character, Oliver Quick, dances naked through the estate to Sophie Ellis-Bextor’s “Murder on the Dancefloor.” Vanity Fair notes that the sequence retraces the route Felix took Oliver through the house earlier in the film. Vanity Fair’s November 2023 interview with Keoghan covers the scene and his experience performing it.
What did Keoghan say was difficult about filming it?
In the Vanity Fair interview, Keoghan said the nudity itself was not the difficult part: “Without sounding cocky, it wasn’t the nudity. That was fine for me. It was the dancing.” That comment is about the challenge of performing the sequence, separate from the later reported answer to prosthetic speculation.

How was the dance put together?
Movement and character
Vanity Fair reports that choreographer Polly Bennett developed the movement during filming, with the sequence growing from a walk into a dance. Bennett described using narrative cues and Oliver’s character movement rather than teaching formal dance steps.
Reported filming details
Capital reported in January 2024 that the sequence was filmed as one continuous shot and took 11 takes. These are secondary-reported production details, not details established here by a published production record. Capital’s report provides that account.
