In Bachelor in Paradise season 10, episode 2, four arrivals bring date cards to the beach, a new chemistry test puts connections under pressure, and Susie’s unresolved history with ex Justin becomes the episode’s clearest romantic tension. A recap outline also records a double date pairing Parisa with Brian and Alli Jo with Jonathon, alongside a Brian-and-Zoe conversation and a rose ceremony.

New arrivals change the beach’s early connections
The episode synopsis names Alli Jo, Parisa, Jill, and Susie as arrivals, each bringing a date card. Their entrances create fresh opportunities while disrupting the connections already taking shape. The synopsis establishes the arrivals and cards, but does not by itself detail every date or the eventual status of each relationship. Apple TV’s episode listing.
The date-card storylines
Parisa, Brian, Alli Jo, and Jonathon
Dear Shandy’s time-stamped recap outline identifies a double date pairing Parisa with Brian and Alli Jo with Jonathon. That confirms the pairing and format, but the outline does not establish that either connection lasts beyond the date. Dear Shandy’s recap outline.

Jill and Jonathon
The outline also marks a Jill segment. A Yahoo syndicated recap search excerpt characterizes Jonathon’s agreement to date Jill as a friend-zone move; that is the writer’s interpretation, not an official description or a confirmed account of the relationship. Yahoo’s syndicated recap.
Jesse’s chemistry test adds a compatibility question
Jesse Palmer introduces the next chemistry test, adding a structured compatibility beat to the episode. The listing does not explain the test’s rules or give its results, so it cannot support claims about which contestants matched or what the test proved. Apple TV’s episode listing.

Susie and Justin’s unresolved history
The episode synopsis explicitly foregrounds old feelings between Susie and her ex, Justin. That makes their prior relationship the clearest stated source of romantic tension in the episode: unlike a new date, their story arrives with history still unsettled. The available episode description and recap outline do not provide a complete account of what they say or decide, so their relationship status should not be inferred from that premise alone. Apple TV; Dear Shandy.
Brian and Zoe, and the rose ceremony
Dear Shandy’s outline includes a segment in which Brian clears the air with Zoe, as well as a rose ceremony. The outline does not establish every rose recipient or departure, so it cannot support a definitive account of who leaves or which pairings continue. Dear Shandy’s recap outline.
