A January 8, 2026 article claims that a roughly 90-second Avengers: Doomsday trailer leaked online and shows an unexpected team-up. The reported footage and lineup remain unverified: Marvel’s official material confirms only that the film was being filmed in July 2025, not that this trailer or these characters appear together.
What the leak report claims
The article, published by AfghanistanWatch.com on January 8, 2026, describes what it calls the first alleged footage from the film. It says the clip runs about 90 seconds and shows ravaged landscapes, Kate Bishop fighting, a black-armored antagonist and a bunker scene. Those are the article’s descriptions; the available sources do not independently authenticate the clip or its contents. Read the AfghanistanWatch.com article.

Which characters are supposedly involved?
The same article presents Kate Bishop, Skaar, Blade, Valkyrie and Victor Von Doom as a “confirmed roster.” That wording is not supported by independent confirmation in the sources available. Treat the five-name lineup as the article’s claim, not an announced cast or verified team-up.
What Marvel has confirmed
Marvel’s official article, published July 25, 2025, discusses Avengers: Doomsday and says the film was being filmed at that time. It does not mention the alleged January 2026 leak, the described scenes or the five-character roster. It provides production context, not verification of the leak. Read Marvel’s official article.

Is the footage authentic?
That remains unresolved. The sources available do not establish whether unauthorized footage circulated, so they cannot confirm the leak or prove that no leak occurred. The AfghanistanWatch.com page also contains extensive repeated wallpaper and search-keyword material. That is a reason to seek corroboration before relying on its leak narrative, but it does not by itself show whether footage circulated elsewhere.
Confirmation would require stronger evidence, such as an official Marvel or Disney trailer or announcement, or a verifiable original upload supported by independent reporting. Until then, the clip’s authenticity, scenes and purported team-up should be described as unconfirmed claims.
