The Australian Open’s 2025 AO LIVE Presents series brought three headline music shows to John Cain Arena at Melbourne Park: Benson Boone on 23 January, Kaytranada on 24 January, and Kesha with Armand Van Helden on 25 January. Each show ticket included a full-day Ground Pass for the same date. The concerts have passed; the lineup and ticket details below are historical.
Who performed at AO LIVE Presents in 2025?
The Australian Open announced three separately headlined shows at John Cain Arena during the tournament’s second week:
| Date and time (AEDT) | Artists | Venue |
|---|---|---|
| Thursday, 23 January 2025, 5–9 pm | Benson Boone and special guests | John Cain Arena, Melbourne Park |
| Friday, 24 January 2025, 5–9 pm | Kaytranada and special guests | John Cain Arena, Melbourne Park |
| Saturday, 25 January 2025, 2–7 pm | Kesha, Armand Van Helden and special guests | John Cain Arena, Melbourne Park |
The Australian Open announcement contains a weekday-and-year typo in its artist schedule, labeling those dates as 2024. Its headline and surrounding context identify the events as part of the 2025 tournament, and the AO’s provisional schedule supports the 2025 dates used here.
How did the concerts fit into the wider AO LIVE program?
AO LIVE was presented as more than the three arena shows. The Australian Open described live music and entertainment across the tournament precinct, including performers in Garden Square and DJs on Grand Slam Oval. The John Cain Arena dates were the separately headlined AO LIVE Presents shows, rather than a complete list of the tournament’s music programming.

Tournament director Craig Tiley described the broader plan as “an evolution of the AO’s music offering” with “live music and entertainment across the whole precinct in January.” The official lineup announcement also connected the program to the tournament’s earlier Finals Festival, presenting that as the organizer’s rationale for pairing prominent music acts with tennis.
What did an AO LIVE ticket include?
A ticket to an AO LIVE Presents show included a full-day Ground Pass for the same date. The Australian Open ticket guide listed prices starting at AUD $89 when published; that was the historical starting price for the 2025 offer, not a current price or availability statement.

A Ground Pass and an arena concert ticket should not be read as admission to a separately ticketed tennis session. The sources do not establish that the music ticket guaranteed a reserved seat in another arena or access to a women’s final session. Although the 25 January show coincided with the Australian Open women’s final, the announcement does not say that the concert ticket included entry to the final.
The AO’s ticket guide explains the tournament’s different ways to attend tennis. For the distinct Rod Laver Arena pre-match entertainment listed in the 2025 program, see the AO’s separate entertainment announcement; it is not the John Cain Arena AO LIVE Presents lineup.

What the announcement said about scale
When the lineup was announced, the AO said Benson Boone had more than 1.9 billion global streams. That is the organizer’s dated promotional figure from 2024, not a current stream count. Separately, the AO reported more than 1.1 million attendees across the three weeks of the 2024 tournament, describing it as a Grand Slam attendance record and more than 200,000 above the comparable three-week period in 2023. Those numbers refer to the overall tennis tournament, not AO LIVE attendance.
The cited announcements do not provide an AO LIVE attendance total or an independently measured estimate of demand for the music events. The attendance figure for the tournament as a whole should not be used as a proxy for concert attendance.
