What the documentary covers
The episode travels from Macon to Augusta along Georgia’s Fall Line, combining reported UFO sightings in Macon with stories of mysterious figures and paranormal encounters along the route. WRDW/WAGT reported on Oct. 5, 2026, that the film is available on the Sozo Bear Films YouTube channel. WRDW/WAGT’s report describes a night at the reportedly haunted Partridge Inn, reported activity at the Gertrude Herbert Institute of Art, and a visit to Sibley Mill along the Augusta Canal.
A local feature also names Magnolia and Cedar Grove cemeteries among the Augusta locations. Producers Luke Pilgrim and Brad Kennedy filmed in Augusta in July, and local resident Michael Wolff of Augusta Adventures Tours and Events was among those featured, according to Augusta Good News.
Augusta landmarks and the stories attached to them
Visit Augusta’s haunted-history feature recounts several local legends associated with the sites. These are folklore accounts and reports, rather than independent confirmation of paranormal activity.

- Partridge Inn: The hotel is associated with a reported ghost story.
These accounts come from Visit Augusta’s Sep. 18, 2025, haunted-history article. The documentary’s focus is the stories and reports surrounding the locations; the available coverage does not establish that the reported events occurred as supernatural phenomena.
Why the filmmakers paired folklore with destination stories
Pilgrim described the premise as a way to explore local tales while presenting the cities positively: “Every small town has its secrets, and every town has its scary stories.” He added, “The whole concept is to help promote the cities in the best light possible while exploring these creepy stories,” according to Augusta Good News.

Karen Lee Davis, chief marketing officer of Destination Augusta, said Augusta has “no shortage of stories that sit at the intersection of history, mystery and legend,” WRDW/WAGT reported. The distinction matters: the landmarks have real histories, while hauntings and encounters belong to reported experience and local lore.
