This is an editorial ranking, not a canonical power list. I’m weighing what the film and official character biographies establish about each Jedi’s arena and immediate-battle role, leadership, and narrative significance. Because the scene gives only brief glimpses of a large group, the order is necessarily qualitative—not a claim about who would win a duel.
What this ranking includes
The arena sequence is a rescue: Mace Windu and a large group of Jedi arrive to free Anakin Skywalker, Obi-Wan Kenobi, and Padmé Amidala from execution. StarWars.com’s Shaak Ti Databank entry connects her to that rescue and to the mission leading into the first battle of the Clone Wars.
This list is limited to Jedi with a specific, supported connection to the arena rescue or its immediate Geonosis action. The screenplay’s scene direction describes “about twenty Jedi,” but that is not a complete roster. It would be misleading to fold in every Jedi associated with the wider Battle of Geonosis, where some fought elsewhere.
The official biographies consulted do not provide a comparative strength ranking. Their descriptions establish character and roles, not a reliable measure of combat ability. The placements below therefore reflect how much the available evidence supports each Jedi’s importance to this particular sequence—not an objective scale of Force power.

The ranking
1. Mace Windu
Windu leads the rescue into the arena, making him the sequence’s most consequential Jedi by responsibility and narrative weight. His arrival turns the captives’ execution into a confrontation and anchors the group’s action. This top placement is about his role in the scene, not a claim that the sources establish him as definitively the strongest Jedi there.
2. Shaak Ti
Shaak Ti has the clearest official biographical link to the arena rescue: StarWars.com says she arrives with the Jedi who free the prisoners and joins the mission that leads to the first Clone Wars battle. Her presence is directly tied to the event being ranked, even though the brief scene offers too little individual combat detail to compare her technique with Windu’s or anyone else’s.

3. Ki-Adi-Mundi
Ki-Adi-Mundi is identified by StarWars.com as a Jedi Council member and as a general in the Geonosis battles. Those roles give him substantial institutional and campaign significance. They do not, by themselves, prove a particular arena feat, so his placement reflects documented standing and Geonosis involvement rather than a scene-by-scene combat comparison.
4. Plo Koon
StarWars.com connects Plo Koon to the Geonosis mission and says he was captured with Ki-Adi-Mundi. His Databank characterization as calm, analytical, and compassionate adds context to his reputation, but it is not evidence of a comparative arena advantage. He ranks here on the strength of his documented connection to the mission and battle, with limited individual arena evidence.

5. Agen Kolar
A StarWars.com search-result extract identifies Agen Kolar as part of Windu’s Geonosis rescue strike team. That supports including him in the rescue context, but the underlying page could not be checked in full and the available material provides little basis for comparing his specific performance or leadership with the Jedi above. His position is consequently the least secure in this ranking.

The scene is a collective rescue, not a sequence of individual trials. It gives uneven attention to the Jedi, and the screenplay’s approximate headcount does not identify every person in the arena. Official biographies provide useful context for Shaak Ti, Plo Koon, and Ki-Adi-Mundi, but do not establish who was most powerful or who would win a duel.

“Survived the arena battle” can also mean two different things: surviving the arena sequence itself, or surviving the broader Geonosis campaign. This ranking does not attempt to calculate either survival total. It stays with the arena rescue and its immediate battle context, rather than treating every Jedi at Geonosis as part of the same on-screen group.
