Astro Media Solutions (AMS) says its rate card applies uniformly across Astro’s YouTube channels, but its published FAQ does not give a numeric price or confirm a multi-channel discount. For a current one-channel or multi-channel cost, request a quote from AMS and confirm the package scope, placement, availability, taxes, and any production charges.
Does advertising on more Astro YouTube channels cost more?
AMS’s January 2024 media kit says, “The price is the same for all YouTube channels under Astro,” and that its rate card applies uniformly across those channels. This describes the rate-card basis; it does not establish the total cost of a campaign running on one channel versus several.
The available FAQ does not publish a numeric per-channel rate or state whether AMS offers a bundle discount, requires a minimum spend, or issues one combined invoice for multiple channels. Those details need to be confirmed in a current quote.
What affects the total campaign cost?
Placement and buying method
AMS says advertisers can request a specific Astro channel or video placement, such as a Stadium Astro EPL video. Buying through YouTube directly uses programmatic delivery and does not guarantee placement on a particular Astro channel or video. AMS describes direct programmatic rates as potentially lower, but says charges may differ; that is not a guarantee that direct buying will always cost less.

Campaign format and scope
Ask whether the quote covers standard ad inventory or a branded integration, and specify each channel, video, format, and campaign period you want. The October 2024 digital-rate-card search result listed historical branded-integration examples: a branded playlist weekly at 10,000 media investment plus 1,000 production cost; a branded hashtag weekly at 10,000 media investment; a branded video thumbnail weekly at 5,000; and a three-second branded intro per video at 5,000. The extracted table did not show a currency symbol. These are dated examples, not current quotes or a complete rate card.
Taxes, production, and availability
The January 2024 media kit stated that prices excluded government tax and could be subject to 6% service tax if applicable. It also said channel selection depended on availability at booking and that Astro could amend prices. Treat these as terms in that dated kit and verify the current tax treatment and availability with AMS. For branded integrations, confirm whether production is included or charged separately.

How to get a current quote
- Choose the buying route. Tell AMS if you need a specific channel or video placement. If you are considering direct YouTube buying instead, account for the fact that it does not guarantee placement on a particular Astro property.
- Define the campaign. List the channels and placements, dates, format, and whether you want one channel or a multi-channel campaign. Ask explicitly whether a package discount or minimum spend applies.
- Request a written breakdown. Ask for media investment, production charges, taxes, booking requirements, and confirmation of which placements are available. The official Astro Media Solutions website describes its advertising packages and provides a route to inquire about packages and rates.
- Confirm lead time before booking. AMS’s January 2024 kit required at least four working days’ notice before the intended campaign live date. Verify the current lead time and booking conditions directly before relying on that dated requirement.
Do not mistake audience figures for prices or guarantees
The January 2024 media kit reported Dailymotion figures for January–April 2023, including 1.01 million views, 53,480 watch hours, and a 38% view-through rate, as well as another platform grouping with 662,000 views, 49.4 million watch hours, and a 26% view-through rate. These are historical Dailymotion figures, not YouTube audience numbers, current channel forecasts, or pricing data.
