Rivera describió su salida como una decisión personal y meditada: “Yo decidí presentar mi renuncia; no fue un despido”, dijo a People en Español el 17 de octubre de 2025.
Explicó que quería nuevos retos y espacios donde pudiera sentirse más libre, útil y capaz de expandirse. También dijo que había llegado el momento de comenzar una nueva etapa y construir sus propios proyectos. Según la entrevista, conversó la decisión con su esposo e hijos antes de tomarla.

- 22 de septiembre de 2025: People en Español confirmó que Rivera dejaría el programa y reprodujo declaraciones que ella había dado a Las Top News. Rivera habló de maximizar su potencial en espacios que le permitieran crecer y dijo que seguiría apareciendo durante varias semanas mientras completaba la transición. Un perfil de People en Español actualizado el 10 de agosto de 2026 informó que Rivera apareció en el programa de Telemundo Pica y se extiende y mencionó Reposhe entre sus actividades posteriores. La describió como una tienda online de ropa de segunda mano de influencers y celebridades.
