Games Workshop’s 18 September 2026 announcement does not give an exact release day. It also confirms the animation will be significantly longer than the original, without stating its runtime or episode count.
When does Astartes II come out?
The latest official announcement sets the release window as December 2026, but does not specify a day. The date became more precise over time: Warhammer Community first said in January 2025 that Astartes II was set for 2026, described its return as planned for later in the year in January 2026, and named December in July 2026. The September announcement reaffirmed December as the release month.
For the current window, see Warhammer Community’s 18 September 2026 announcement. The earlier updates are the 24 July 2026 Warhammer+ preview and the 7 January 2026 animation announcement.
Where can you watch Astartes II?
Games Workshop says Astartes II will be released on Warhammer TV and can be watched with a Warhammer+ subscription. The announcement does not establish availability on other streaming services, specify territory-by-territory viewing terms, or provide subscription pricing.
