The quest is no longer playable, and buying Shadows now does not restore access to it.

Ubisoft says players who completed the quest before it ended or bought bundle items before the store deadline keep those rewards in their inventories. The quest and store offers have different end dates; the quest itself is not available to buy.
What was in the crossover?
Ubisoft announced the collaboration on November 24, 2025. The free quest sent Naoe and Yasuke into an underground chapel to rescue a friend from a cult. Players had to unlock Yasuke to enter. The quest’s rewards included an exclusive katana and other items found in chests.
The separate store selection included a Titan-inspired outfit for Yasuke, a Mikasa-inspired outfit for Naoe, weapons, and a Scout Regiment mount. These were optional purchases, not rewards for completing the free quest. Ubisoft’s announcement described the event as a free story addition, distinct from the paid store bundles.

Can you start the quest now?
No. Ubisoft’s current product FAQ says the quest is no longer available. The original event ran from November 25 through December 22, 2025. If you did not complete it during that window, purchasing the game now will not grant access to the quest or its quest rewards.
Which platforms were included?
Ubisoft’s November 24, 2025 announcement listed Ubisoft+, PS5 and PS5 Pro, Xbox Series X|S, Amazon Luna, Mac computers with Apple silicon, and Windows PC through Ubisoft Store, Steam, and Epic Games Store. It said the Switch 2 version would arrive on December 2, 2025 with the quest. Those platform details describe the announcement; they do not change the quest’s later end date.

Is the crossover worth buying the game for?
Only if you want to play Assassin’s Creed Shadows and its other available content. The crossover quest has expired, so the game purchase does not provide a way to experience that story now. Ubisoft said on June 16, 2026 that Title Update 1.1.11 was the final major update and that it had no plans for further major content updates; that statement concerns major updates and is not a promise about every form of future support.
Ubisoft’s announcement also cited more than 230 million sales for the Assassin’s Creed series worldwide since the franchise began in 2007. That is a franchise-wide lifetime figure, not sales or player numbers for Shadows or the crossover.
