The comment addressed online speculation; it was not a confirmation of a romance.
What Thekla said about dating Clark Connors
During an appearance on TMZ’s Inside the Ring, Thekla pushed back when asked about claims that she and Connors were dating. As reported by 411mania on June 24, 2026, she said they were “very close” and denied the dating claim. 411mania’s report credits the program and provides its account of the exchange.
Cageside Seats reproduced the interviewer’s question and Thekla’s response in coverage published June 25, 2026. In that account, Thekla said: “Well, I don’t know where you actually picked that up from, that we’re dating. We’re very close…” Cageside Seats’ coverage documents the same interview exchange; it is not a separate confirmation about her private life.
Why fans may associate them
Thekla and Connors have a public professional connection that helps explain the speculation. In a 2024 Grapsody interview, Thekla recounted meeting Connors and other members of NJPW’s War Dogs at NJPW x STARDOM Historic X-Over 1. She described clicking with them quickly, socializing, and later discussing working together. Fightful’s report of that interview says she saw the War Dogs and STARDOM’s H.A.T.E. as a natural fit professionally. Fightful’s November 15, 2024 report supports a story of friendship and collaboration, not a romantic relationship.

NJPW Global also featured the pair in a November 15, 2024 article about preparing for a mixed-tag match at Historic Crossover 2, including comments on training and life on tour. That is promotional wrestling coverage of their work together, not evidence of an off-screen romance. NJPW Global’s feature provides that professional context.
What the public record does—and does not—establish
- Established: In the June 2026 interview, Thekla said she and Connors are close and denied that they were dating.
- Established: They have a friendship and professional connection described publicly by Thekla, and they have been promoted together for wrestling work.
- Not established: The available coverage does not verify a romantic relationship or provide a basis for claims about private details beyond Thekla’s statement.
So, the accurate answer to “Are Thekla and Clark Connors dating?” is that Thekla said they were not dating in the June 2026 interview. Their visible friendship and shared wrestling work should not be treated as proof of anything more.
