When did Josh Groban and Natalie McQueen become engaged?
In a June 15, 2026 interview with The Atlanta Journal-Constitution, Groban said he had become engaged to his girlfriend in April and proposed at Disneyland. In a September 23, 2026 report, Parade relayed Groban’s comments from a Reader’s Digest interview and also referred to McQueen as his fiancée.

Reflecting on the proposal in the Reader’s Digest interview, Groban said, “That’s probably the best decision I’ve ever made in my life, asking that question.”
How did their relationship begin?
Groban said mutual friends connected them. During the COVID period, McQueen was in London and he was in New York; they began with FaceTime dates before meeting in person. He described it to The Atlanta Journal-Constitution as “this digital COVID relationship after mutual friends connected us.”

What had Groban said about McQueen before the engagement?
In a September 4, 2025 interview with the Los Angeles Times, Groban confirmed their relationship, saying, “I’m very happily in love with a wonderful partner [actor Natalie McQueen], and I think we share the same goals.” That interview predates his engagement announcement.
