There is no verified, comprehensive year-end list in the available sources, so this guide brings together selected official premiere dates and a broader U.S. title cross-check without presenting either as a complete catalog.
What Apple TV+ released in 2024
Apple’s February 5, 2024 preview described an upcoming slate, not a complete catalog of everything that would become available during the year. The slate spanned scripted series, returning seasons, films, documentaries, and children’s programming. Apple’s individual announcements are the clearest evidence for the specific premiere dates below.
For a wider but still incomplete cross-check, FlixPatrol’s U.S.-scoped “Apple TV Originals – year 2024” page reports 52 movies or TV shows. A 9to5Mac year-end roundup reports 69 Apple originals for 2024. Those figures are not directly comparable: their inclusion rules are not reconciled, and the sources do not establish that either total counts every season, special, concert program, film, or other format made available during the year.
Selected 2024 premiere dates announced by Apple
These examples show the range of Apple TV+ releases and clarify an important distinction: a series premiere is not necessarily the date its full season became available.

More titles in the U.S. inventory cross-check
FlixPatrol’s U.S. 2024 listing includes the following titles in addition to examples above. This is a useful way to discover releases, but it should not be read as an authoritative global catalog or as proof that every title in each category below had its first-ever release in 2024.

Documentaries and historical stories
The year’s releases included documentary and documentary-adjacent programming. Apple’s announcements identify The Bloody Hundredth among the 2024 titles; the FlixPatrol listing also includes The Dynasty: New England Patriots and The Secret Lives of Animals. The available information here does not establish a complete documentary-only list, so these are examples rather than an exhaustive documentary catalog.

Manhunt is a scripted limited series based on Swanson’s nonfiction account of the pursuit of Abraham Lincoln’s assassin. It is not itself a documentary, but viewers interested in its historical subject can look to the source book, Manhunt: The 12-Day Chase for Lincoln’s Killer.
Why a single release date can be misleading
For a weekly series, the first episode’s premiere date and the season’s final episode date are different. The Apple-announced schedules above show that distinction: several series launched with two episodes and continued weekly. Films can also have separate theatrical and streaming dates. For example, Apple’s announcement said Blitz opened in select theaters on November 1, 2024, before its Apple TV+ streaming release on November 22. A list that gives only one “release date” may conceal either kind of staggered availability.

Apple’s 2024 announcements listed Apple TV 4K, Apple devices, smart televisions, Roku, Amazon Fire TV devices, Chromecast with Google TV, PlayStation, Xbox, and the web among viewing options. Apple TV 4K is therefore optional hardware, not a requirement to watch Apple TV+. Device support and availability can vary, so check current compatibility for the screen you plan to use.
