Anna Camp said she was dating a woman during a February 2025 TikTok street interview. Later reports identified the woman as writer and set designer Jade Whipkey. The news came about six years after Camp’s divorce from actor Skylar Astin was finalized in August 2019.
What Anna Camp said in the 2025 interview
In the February 2025 TikTok exchange, Camp explained why she did not expect anything from a man on a first date: “Well, I don’t expect anything from a guy anymore because I like women, and it’s great,” the Los Angeles Times reported. The woman with her replied, “Yeah, same, same. Nothing. Nothing,” then added, “I’d rather you, like, not be on the date.”
The clip initially attracted little notice because neither woman identified herself in the video, according to the Times. Camp’s later public social posts with Whipkey helped bring the interview to wider attention.
Who is Anna Camp dating?
The Los Angeles Times and The Independent identified Camp’s partner as Jade Whipkey, a writer and set designer. The Independent reported that they had been together for a few months by the time its May 14, 2025 story was published.

How the news fits the Skylar Astin timeline
Camp and Astin, her co-star in the Pitch Perfect films, married in 2016. Their divorce was finalized in August 2019, The Independent reported. The 2025 dating news followed roughly six years later; it was not an exact anniversary.

In a separate development, The Daily Beast reported on September 30, 2026, that Camp publicly identified as bisexual during a March 2026 podcast interview. Camp said she wanted to “normalize it” and that “it shouldn’t be such an event to be in love with who you’re in love with,” according to The Daily Beast.

That 2026 disclosure is distinct from the February 2025 dating statement: Camp said she was dating a woman in the TikTok interview, then publicly identified as bisexual the following year.
