What Mielle announced in May 2023
Mielle’s May 23 announcement introduced Reese, then an LSU basketball player, as the haircare brand’s newest ambassador. The company said the partnership would include marketing, social media, events and a limited-edition bundle. “I put it out there that I wanted to work with more beauty brands, and I’m so excited to be working with Mielle! I’m a longtime user and fan of the brand so this is the perfect partnership,” Reese said in the announcement.
The “From One Queen to Another” campaign
On September 14, 2023, Mielle announced its first advertising campaign, “From One Queen to Another,” starring Rodriguez and Reese. The release presented Rodriguez as the “Queen of the Textured Haircare Category” and Reese as the “Queen of the Court.” Its message centered on women sharing beauty knowledge and celebrating sisterhood. Reese connected the products to the demands of balancing basketball and school: “It can be difficult maintaining my hair as an athlete and student with a tight schedule, but Mielle has always been there for me.” She also described Mielle as part of her daily haircare routine and said she wanted to share what she had been using to keep her hair healthy.

Mielle listed the bundle at $54.99 and said it would be available for a limited time in fall 2023, exclusively on its website. Those are historical price and availability details from the 2023 release; they do not establish that the bundle is currently sold or what it might cost now.

The two Mielle announcements document Reese’s appointment in May 2023 and her participation in the September campaign that year. They do not establish whether she remains an ambassador in October 2026. Nor do they confirm current product stock, prices or formulations.
