Spoilers for “Make It Stop,” Season 2, Episode 10. Lonni Jung’s warning puts Luthen Rael and Kleya Marki into survival mode just as Dedra Meero closes in on Luthen’s identity as Axis. The danger is operational, but the episode’s flashbacks make it personal: Luthen and Kleya’s choices are shaped by the 17 years they have spent bound together.

What happens in “Make It Stop”?

Lonni urgently warns Luthen and Kleya that their rebel operation is at risk. Dedra has found Axis, the alias tied to Luthen, and arrives at his door. While Luthen stalls her, he and Kleya move to erase traces of the network, including destroying their transmitter. StarWars.com’s episode guide summarizes the scramble: “An urgent call from Lonni Jung (Robert Emms) sends Luthen Rael (Stellan Skarsgård) and Kleya Marki (Elizabeth Dulau) into survival mode, eliminating loose ends and destroying their transmitter.”

The immediate suspense comes from the gap between what Dedra knows and what she can prove. Luthen’s effort to hold her off buys Kleya time, but the episode makes clear that hiding the operation is no longer enough: the people and evidence connected to it are exposed.

Why do Luthen and Kleya’s flashbacks matter?

The episode intercuts the present crisis with memories of how the two met. Luthen was a disillusioned soldier; Kleya was a frightened child in a war zone. The StarWars.com guide says they have spent 17 years together. That history changes the meaning of their present-day actions: Kleya is not simply an operative carrying out orders, and Luthen is not simply protecting a useful member of his network.

  • 12-Month Warranty: Backed by a 12-month manufacturer warranty for peace of mind. Designed to meet strict quality control standards for reliable everyday performance.

StarWars.com’s explainer describes their bond as complicated by the circumstances of their first meeting. Luthen protected Kleya, but he and his soldiers were also responsible for the violence that orphaned her. Their loyalty therefore carries an unresolved cost: the person who gave Kleya a future was connected to the force that took her former life away.

What does Lonni reveal about the Emperor’s energy project?

Lonni’s final intelligence gives the crisis a larger meaning. The Emperor’s energy project is a cover for the Death Star, a weapon of mass destruction, according to StarWars.com’s explainer on Episodes 10–12. The episode’s story of survival and erased evidence thus becomes a warning for the fledgling Rebellion: the Empire is building something whose threat reaches far beyond the people Dedra is pursuing.

Why does the episode end on a devastating note?

The emotional force of the episode comes from the collision between the personal history and the rebellion’s need to survive. StarWars.com’s explainer describes Luthen choosing sacrifice rather than becoming an Imperial prisoner who could expose the network, while Kleya undertakes the mission to eliminate evidence that could destroy the Rebellion. That is the larger arc the explainer identifies; the episode’s immediate crisis supplies the pressure behind it.

“Make It Stop” does not treat resistance as a clean triumph. Luthen and Kleya have spent years building a cause while carrying the damage of how they came together. As Dedra reaches the threshold of Luthen’s hidden life, the episode turns their shared past into the measure of what each is prepared to lose.
