Was Will Arnett nominated?

What is Good Hang with Amy Poehler?
The Golden Globes describes the show as a conversation in which Poehler and a guest talk about themselves, with entertaining listeners as the central aim. Its official podcast profile credits Poehler as cast. The winner report says the show launched from Paper Kite Productions and The Ringer ten months before the January 2026 ceremony; that timing is the Golden Globes’ account.
For comparison, the official Golden Globes coverage describes SmartLess as a show in which one host reveals a mystery guest to the other two, followed by ad-libbed conversation about show business and current topics.
Why was the category notable?
The 2026 ceremony introduced the Golden Globes’ Best Podcast category. Nominations were announced on December 8, 2025, ahead of the January 11, 2026 ceremony. The eligibility announcement says the initial list of 25 eligible podcasts was determined by data partner Luminate.
“This year’s inaugural list of eligible programs for the new Best Podcast eligibility list reflects the incredible depth, diversity and creativity thriving in the podcasting world today,” said Helen Hoehne, president of the Golden Globes. She added, “The Golden Globes is proud to be the first major entertainment award to recognize this medium.”
