Amy Bradley Is Missing is a three-part Netflix documentary about the 1998 disappearance of 23-year-old Amy Lynn Bradley during a family Caribbean cruise. It revisits the search, reported sightings and theories, but does not establish what happened to her. Netflix reported in July 2025 that Bradley had not been found and her fate remained unknown.
What is Amy Bradley Is Missing about?
The 2025 true-crime series follows Bradley’s disappearance aboard Royal Caribbean’s Rhapsody of the Seas, the search by her family and investigators, and the reported sightings and competing theories that emerged over time. Netflix describes the series as a three-episode investigation into the case and the family’s search for answers. The documentary includes members of the Bradley family, eyewitnesses and FBI investigators, according to Netflix Tudum. It was directed and executive-produced by Ari Mark and Phil Lott.
The series premiered July 16, 2025. Netflix’s title page lists these episodes:
| Episode | Title | Runtime |
|---|---|---|
| 1 | “Vanished At Sea” | 49 minutes |
| 2 | “I Saw Her” | 42 minutes |
| 3 | “Message In A Bottle” | 40 minutes |
The official Netflix page lists the title as available to download for offline viewing. Access depends on Netflix’s current catalog and availability in your location.

What happened to Amy Bradley?
Bradley was 23 when she traveled with her parents, Ron and Iva, and brother Brad on a Caribbean cruise in March 1998. Netflix Tudum’s account says she spent the evening dancing at the ship’s nightclub, was last seen resting on her cabin balcony, and was gone when her father checked on her early the next morning. The ship’s continued journey made the search especially challenging, as director Phil Lott told Tudum: “You’ve got this ultimate whodunit in this location, which is a cruise ship.”
The case remains unresolved in the public accounts cited here. Netflix Tudum reported on July 21, 2025, that Bradley had never been found and her fate remained unknown. The documentary does not resolve the disappearance. An FBI wanted listing exists, but its page does not provide substantive text here to independently establish a newer case update.
Are the reported sightings or theories confirmed?
No. The series examines reported sightings and possible explanations, but those accounts should be understood as leads or claims, not proof of Bradley’s fate. Netflix Tudum characterizes sightings as unconfirmed; the sources cited here do not establish what happened to her. A documentary’s presentation of a theory, or a witness’s account, is not an official finding.
The series also discusses Alister “Yellow” Douglas, an entertainer aboard the ship who was seen dancing with Bradley in nightclub footage. Tudum reports that FBI agents questioned him, that he voluntarily took an inconclusive polygraph, and that he was released with no evidence to charge him in Bradley’s disappearance. Douglas maintains his innocence. Those reported details do not establish his involvement.
