As attributed in the wedding coverage, Toscano said of Foster and McPhee: “They are so dear to us, and had it not been for David, I would’ve never met Carmen. Both he and Katharine are a big part of our story.”
What did the couple wear, and what made the ceremony personal?
Toscano wore two custom gowns by Paola Estefania. The ceremony dress was described as Armani satin and French lace; the reception look was a more streamlined lace gown. Educate wore a custom black tuxedo from Suitsupply.

The couple exchanged handwritten vows, and Educate’s five children were included in the ceremony. Toscano said she wanted the celebration to feel unlike the weddings she had performed at or attended: “I had the opportunity to perform at and attend a ton of weddings. I really wanted ours to feel different — like nothing we had ever been to.”
On her styling, Toscano said: “I just wanted to feel effortless. I didn’t want to be overly styled, and I wanted a look that complemented both gowns.” These remarks were attributed to her in the wedding report.
