What Amber Heard announced about her twins
Heard shared the news on Mother’s Day, May 11, 2025, naming her newborn twins Agnes and Ocean. The Associated Press reported her announcement and quoted her describing the experience of becoming a mother on her own terms. Associated Press coverage and CBS News coverage both reported the birth announcement.
In the post, Heard wrote: “Becoming a mother by myself and on my own terms despite my own fertility challenges has been the most humbling experience of my life.” She also said, “I am eternally grateful that I was able to choose this responsibly and thoughtfully.” Both statements were quoted by the Associated Press from her Mother’s Day post.
How the December 2024 pregnancy report differs
On December 5, 2024, a representative for Heard confirmed to People that she was expecting another child. The representative said the pregnancy was still early and that Heard was delighted for herself and her daughter, Oonagh Paige. The Los Angeles Times reported the confirmation the following day.
