The Dead Don’t Hurt — November 1
The Dead Don’t Hurt was the month’s principal movie premiere. Written and directed by Viggo Mortensen, the Civil War-era Western stars Mortensen and Vicky Krieps as pioneers whose relationship is tested by separation, violence, and life on the American frontier.
This was a streaming arrival rather than a Paramount+ original. Contemporary listings identified it as available through Paramount+ with SHOWTIME, so the title was not necessarily included with every Paramount+ subscription tier.

Own it after streaming: Readers who prefer physical media can look for The Dead Don’t Hurt Blu-ray. A Blu-ray and DVD purchase option existed through retail listings, but that home-video availability should not be confused with a same-day disc release tied to the November 1 streaming debut.
Landman — November 17
Landman was the clearest centerpiece of the month’s original programming. The 10-episode drama was created by Taylor Sheridan and Christian Wallace and draws its story and setting from the Boomtown podcast, produced by Imperative Entertainment and Texas Monthly.
Set in the West Texas oil industry, the series stars Billy Bob Thornton and Ali Larter, with Demi Moore and Jon Hamm—who appears in a recurring role—also among the major names attached to the cast. Paramount+ launched the series with two episodes on November 17, followed by weekly episodes rather than releasing the entire season at once.

Own it later: Landman Season 1 DVD and Blu-ray editions arrived in May 2025, several months after the original Paramount+ launch. They are a later ownership option, not part of the November 2024 arrival itself.
The French Montana Story — November 19
The French Montana Story is a documentary about Moroccan-born recording artist French Montana. It follows his mother and the family’s journey from Morocco to the Bronx, along with his path into the music business. The documentary premiered on Paramount+ in the U.S. and Canada on November 19, 2024.
The Agency — November 29
The Agency is Showtime’s espionage thriller based on the French series Le Bureau des Légendes. The cast includes Michael Fassbender, Jeffrey Wright, Jodie Turner-Smith, and Richard Gere. Paramount+ premiered two episodes on November 29.
