What Murphy has said about his family
Murphy has repeatedly described his children as a central part of his life. In remarks quoted by ABC News’ Good Morning America in connection with a 2022 interview, he said: “My kids are smart and are trying to do stuff. I am so blessed with my kids. I really, really got lucky.”
Us Weekly attributed another comment to Murphy’s 2025 documentary Being Eddie: “My kids are the center of everything. Once you have kids, it’s all about them.”
How the family is represented publicly
Several of Murphy’s adult children have pursued creative or on-camera work, particularly Bria and Bella. Others, including Christian, have remained largely private. Public family guides sometimes add new relationship, marriage or career details; those reports are time-sensitive and should be read as dated entertainment reporting rather than a complete account of the family’s private lives.
