It debuted at Target in 2022, but it is no longer accurate to describe the full brand as Target-exclusive: as of October 2026, the brand lists Target, Ulta and Shoppers Drug Mart as retail destinations. The line spans fragrance, body care, bath, hair, lifestyle and lip products, with scents paired to feelings and routines.
What is Being Frenshe?
Being Frenshe is a wellness and personal-care brand founded by actor Ashley Tisdale, with product development associated with Maesa. Tisdale has said the idea grew out of her own mental-health and wellness journey and her use of fragrance in daily rituals. She frames the products as tools for self-care; that is the founder’s perspective, not evidence that fragrance treats anxiety or produces a clinically proven emotional effect.
The brand’s central idea is to connect scent with an intended feeling or ritual. Its current overview describes products as everyday wellness rituals rooted in scent. Tisdale writes, “My hope is that these products will support your own self-care rituals—and encourage you to breathe in a moment for you.” Being Frenshe’s official overview presents this as brand philosophy, not a medical promise.
What does Being Frenshe sell?
The range has grown beyond the fragrance and body assortment that launched at Target. Brand materials cover fragrance, body care, bath, hair, lifestyle and lip wellness. Product availability changes, so a format or scent announced in an earlier launch should not be assumed to be in stock now.

Fragrance and body products
Formats have included Hair, Body & Linen Mist, perfume oil, Eau de Parfum, body wash, body lotion, body serum stick and candles. These serve different uses: a mist is designed for hair, body and linens, while perfume oil and Eau de Parfum are fragrance formats; wash and lotion are body-care steps. Check the individual product label for directions and formula details rather than assuming that every product in a scent family has the same ingredients or attributes.
A February 2024 launch announcement introduced the Palo Santo Sage collection, describing it as “Present & Grounded” and listing palo santo, sage, ylang ylang and eucalyptus notes. The announced formats included Hair, Body & Linen Mist, Glow On Perfume Oil, Soothing Body Serum Stick, Renewing Body Wash, Milky Body Lotion, Reset Candle and Eau de Parfum. The same announcement named Lavender Cloud, Cashmere Vanilla, Bergamot Cedar, Solar Fleur and Citrus Amber as other scent profiles then. These are dated assortment details; the current lineup may differ. The February 27, 2024 announcement describes the collection’s intended ritual and scent notes.

Hair care
A 2025 hair launch expanded the line with moisture and restore shampoos and conditioners, dry shampoo, leave-in conditioner, scalp scrub, clarifying shampoo and a hair mask. The brand associated Cashmere Vanilla with moisture products, Salty with scalp-cleansing formats and Lavender Cloud with restorative products. These are the brand’s intended-use descriptions, not independent comparative test results. The January 8, 2025 hair collection announcement described that launch as Target-exclusive.
Lip care
The announced lip collection included Restoring Lip Balm in Cashmere Vanilla, Solar Fleur, Moon Milk and Lavender Cloud, plus Nourishing Lip Mask in Cashmere Vanilla and Lavender Cloud. When the collection was announced on August 13, 2025, the brand said it would launch exclusively at Target on August 18 and cost under $14. How to choose among scents and formats
Start with what you want to use, then compare scent and the current product label. The brand’s mood language can help explain its positioning, but it should be read as descriptive branding rather than a promised emotional or health outcome.
- Choose by format: decide whether you want a fragrance format, a wash or lotion, a hair-care product, a candle or a lip product. Directions and use differ by item.
- Compare scent notes: look at the notes and scent name on the specific current listing. The official overview names Matcha Me, Hinoki, Moon Milk, Salty and Desert Rose; older announcements may describe additional scents that have since changed in availability.
- Check the formula: review the current product label for ingredients, directions and any formula attributes important to you. A scent name does not establish that all products in that family share a formula.
Being Frenshe does not provide independent comparative testing in the cited product announcements. Claims about what a scent is intended to feel like, or what a hair product is intended to do, should therefore be distinguished from demonstrated results.

Where can you buy Being Frenshe?
The brand debuted at Target in 2022. A launch-era Allure interview described an initial assortment of 45 products in five scents, priced from $8 to $17 at that time. Those figures describe the 2022 debut, not today’s assortment or pricing.
Distribution has since expanded. In a June 16, 2026 announcement, Being Frenshe said fragrance and body care would be available at Ulta.com starting June 16, in Ulta stores beginning June 22, with the full assortment scheduled for July 12. The current official brand overview also names Shoppers Drug Mart. Retailers may carry different assortments, and live stock or prices can vary by location and date. The June 2026 Ulta availability announcement gives the launch timeline; check the retailer listing for current availability.

What the brand says about its growth
In its June 16, 2026 announcement, Being Frenshe reported $250 million in sales since its 2022 debut and said it had recently exceeded $100 million in annual point-of-sale sales. These are company-reported figures and are not independently audited in the announcement. The brand also described Cashmere Vanilla as its number-one scent franchise and said Cashmere Vanilla Hair, Body & Linen Mist became the number-one body mist in mass retail in 2025. It further reported that one of the mists sells every seven seconds and that the bestseller had more than 4,700 five-star reviews. Those performance statements are the company’s own claims, not independent rankings or verification. The announcement contains the brand’s figures and its stated basis for the Ulta expansion.
